Marks has got to be fucking hyped to get another trade exception
The Knicks could have just as easily said "We're not doing the trade then" and completely destroy everything
But it also is zero harm, Milton is non-guaranteed on the next two years and Diakite is an expiring so neither affect the future cap. Knicks wouldn't have done this trade if it hard-capped them.
So essentially we get salaries that don't affect our future cap so the Knicks can remain under the apron, fair enough
We did your team a favor why are you being a dick
Nets getting more assets back for Mikal??? 👀
This is actually a good pickup for them tbh
- Rookie QB
- Horrible Offensive Line
- Above-average RB who can’t do anything because of the horrible Offensive Line
- No WR currently worth a damn
Still have nothing going for them
I do actually think the Pats defense is really good. But damn they have absolutely nothing going for them on offense.
Play-Style of Wade with body traits of Green sounds right
Flagg, Bailey, Harper, Traore, Edgecombe, Malauch, Tre Johnson, Egor Demin, McNeeley, and even more, absolutely stacked.
He’s reminiscent of a young Dwyane Wade. Similarly sized, crazy athletic SGs with amazing slashing abilities and somewhat questionable jump-shots. Victor Oladipo is another good comparison.
As I’ve said, it is just that there’s no downside for the Nets and the Knicks wouldn’t have done it without it
Stefan Bondy (@SbondyNBA) on X: “Per sources, the Nets and Knicks had agreed from the beginning of the Bridges deal that the Knicks wouldn’t be hard capped. This wasn’t an evolution of a trade or reconfiguring or the Nets further helping out the Knicks. It was part of the original price.”
