Yea I definitely added more water, but didn’t adjust much in the way of kneading. The recipe doesn’t actually call for kneading. I also realized I forgot to “shape” the dough before I put it in the Dutch oven so that may have been a contributing factor.

I’ll have to try again and see what happens.

Using this recipe I had about 55% bread flour and 45% whole wheat flour.

Honestly? I think it’s because unions were very heavily involved in Democrat politics for years (still are). And so poor and middle class conservative workers learned to oppose unions based on their politics. If there were somehow to come about some form of conservative candidates who supported unions and protections for workers but opposed the other more social aspects of the Democrat platform I wouldn’t be surprised if you saw more low-middle class conservatives shift to unions.

Yeah every time “eating healthy” is brought up it’s always the exact same “just eat chicken, rice, and broccoli for every meal for the rest of your life! Simple!”

Lol like, that’s SO boring and bland. I do the lions share of the cooking and let me tell you, making non-boring food takes time and effort. I eat a lot of chicken rice and vegetables actually…but it’s chicken shawarma, rice pilaf, toum, fresh naan, stir fried vegetable medley, or some other seasoned chicken and grilled on a gas grill, or seasoned salmon, etc. All the prep, cutting, slicing, seasoning, etc. takes a lot of time and effort, let alone the actual cooking.

Most people will go insane if they’re just throwing a chicken breast with a few potatoes and some broccoli into the oven every night and adding a little bit of salt and pepper.

I’ve been working from home since March 2020. While I overall agree with the post, I often sit on my front porch or back deck don nice days and only use my laptop. It’s quite nice
