edit: me and my friend are 18 (legal drinking age in my country) i only turned 18 2 months ago so i feel like the fact we haven’t really had a long time to be going out together is also playing a role in this
So, a few months ago my best friend met this boy, they aren’t official boyfriend girlfriend more like seeing each other and no one else. I’ve met him a few times and I get along great with him, he is great for her he treats her well and i’m really happy for her as she was previously in a very toxic relationship, however i feel like he’s always there, if we go out together to a club he will come with us, for things we’ve got planned that are happening in months time he’s been invited and he’s coming, it’s been a while since we just had a girls night but i don’t want to make a big fuss about it, they also live in different cities so it’s not like he’s at her house 24/7 but i just miss going out with her and just us two having fun I feel like it’s my own personal jealousy getting in the way as i’ve not had a successful relationship and i’ve craved one for years but sometimes it’s just too much for me that fact he’s constantly there and he’s constantly brought up, in 97% of our conversations she will bring him up and i feel like a bad friend for not really caring about hearing about him constantly. I feel like i also kind of feel a sense of abandonment as she is my only friend I know my friend and her boyfriend are not in the wrong at all i know it’s a me problem but i don’t really know how to navigate these feelings as well as tell her i miss us going out without him
