I can only imagine! I've NEVER seen anyone with the Game Gear one, but I myself and a handful of friends had that Game Boy monstrosity.
If anyone is interested I have a big stack of old video game magazine ads that I would love to share and will upload 1 every day. I did one yesterday for the TMNT games but it was removed by the mods for some reason. I uploaded the ads for Zelda Majora's Mask, Monster Rancher, and Aliens 3 earlier this week.

My pleasure! I just got back from a vacation with my wife and found a BUNCH of old video game magazines from thrift shops and wanted to share some old ads that I found interesting.
I was wondering who would make the first comment about that when I scanned the ad.
I'll never forget seeing this game on a kiosk in my local Kmart and being really nervous about getting near it.
They are and I'll keep sharing more if I see some particularly interesting or nostalgic ones!
I just keep telling my wife to not just walk around the stage, and at least bend her knees when in our sludge band 😂
