Hi guys, Iām still deciding between options for a level (very late ik).
Iām heavily undecided between doing English lit (what I wanna do but parents will kill me), Law or PPE at uni.
My current choices are: English Lit, Politics, Maths, Further Maths.
Is anything bad idea/ worth switching to something else?
Would have done Maths Further Maths English lit and politics but I decided on doing IB.
Iāll be English , History and Maths AA at HL and biology German and politics at SL

Aqa maths paper 3. Still disappointed with that e,d,c MCQ, could have gotten 80/80 but Iāll settle with 79
God knows I just cooked really hard on Macbeth and Jekyll & Hyde
I got full marks on my last Y11 mock in English lit. Got super complacent and got deep-fried in the exam. Do everything in your power to revise
Iām a cs student, of course I learn the content the night before then revised it the morning of the exam
I just rlly like politics, and itās better to have 2 essay subjects when applying to law, according to my teacher anyway
Nah go, youāll be motivated that year since you know where you can end up if you do well in a levels

Iām gonna be fully honest: you could still get all 9s if you started revising at Easter, granted you didnāt procrastinate and knew what you were doing. But you build important life skills by revising this early

Nah, unethical tip but you can lie about certain things
My school doesnāt offer law unfortunately :(( but I absolutely love English lit
I donāt want to sound like everybody else but you really donāt need to revise this early. Y11 Easter is a relatively good time to start if you only want to bump your subjects up by 1 or 2 grades.
With that said, if you need to massively improve your grades, maybe do start now?
Iād recommend reading any novellas/poems you will study in y11, and getting a good understanding for your subjects. You will forget everything by October if you revise it now, but itās good to go over things you didnāt understand.
