So I’m a year 10 and have just done my mocks, In my mocks I got all 9s which I am really happy with, but I feel like I might now get complacent, any advice on how to not get complacent and maintain my grades?
How do u get full marks on Iit lol
God knows I just cooked really hard on Macbeth and Jekyll & Hyde
imagine how shit you'll feel with the crushing weight of failed expectations from everywhere you know. Oh- and have 'casual revision' laid out before you come home.
Wdym by “casual revision”?
Like flipping through a textbook, reading a section which you're not too sure on and then continuing with your day. Or just drawing really simple quick diagrams of stuff on postit notes. (Basically, not committing to hardcore revision, but keeping the vague idea of the content circulating around so you don't have to relearn all the early stuff from scratch)
man, all 9s in your mocks your good don’t worry too much about it
that's amazing! Did you revise much? Often the grade boundaries for mocks are a bit lower than in the 'real' exams (depending on the school) so keep that in mind, to help with your complacency! Do you do any languages?
I did quite a lot of revision and no I don’t do any languages
it pays off! :)
I got full marks on my last Y11 mock in English lit. Got super complacent and got deep-fried in the exam. Do everything in your power to revise
