I got into a 12 month program at Sioux Falls. Maybe we are talking about the same school lol? I'm still deciding between Sioux and another school because I can't find any recent information on either. I'm from CA and can count on one hand how many times I have seen snow and not sure if my old car would be an issue. That's one reason I am hesitant.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I wanted to apply to schools in my state, but my prerequisites were not done in time. So I applied to any school that accepted in progress classes. Currently waiting on other admission decisions, but UTHSC wants me to save my seat by 3/1. Ugh.

It's sad that the majority of people in this thread are sharing similar experiences as yours and makes me very hesitant now.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give me so much information. Ugh, I know everyone's experience is different, but I already had some issues with them about my classes that transferred. I'm still waiting on other schools, but I will keep your comments in mind.

you are being rejected from internships because with just 6 months of experience, you're overqualified

My 6 most of experience is at a tech company but I was not in engineering/development. My non-tech experience will count against me when I am applying to internships? I thought its only if I was already a developer?

I forgot to mention in my post that my first degree is in Psych. That's why I spent this year taking CS courses at a community college to apply to a MS.

I've been applying to entry level project management as well- nothing yet. Just got another rejection this morning ...

I was doing Psych with a pre-medicine track, but I didn't want to do that, it was only to make my parents happy. So I just finished my Psych degree.

You mean a job that pays enough to afford basic living expenses? I'm not even materialistic and I'm frugal even when I did have a job. So yes I need a stable job where I can afford to live if I am working 40 hours+ a week. Didn't think that was a pipe dream.

What do you mean digital nomad?

That's where I am getting confused, because I keep updating my resume or I'd send a message on LinkedIn with no response or an automatic rejection after sending a LI message. Some have said that having my last company on my resume makes me look "too expensive" which is dumb because why would I remove a place I worked at?
