This JUST happened to me. Like, it wouldn't even let me uninstall it because there was nothing to uninstall. I ended up deleting the entire Corsair folder from c:\program files, and then ran the iCue install file... then I had to select "Uninstall iCue" from the installer. Only then would it give me the option for a fresh reinstall. Luckily (and I'm not sure how), it kept my fan profiles and everything works normally now.

I went to high school in the 90s. Our computer lab was a bunch of dated Apple II’s. My friend and I would hit the vending machines before class and get some Rolos caramels. Why, you ask? Well, the Rolos came wrapped in a thin foil, so once we got to class we would unplug the spare Apple II next to us, wrap the end of the power cord in the thin foil and jam it back into the computer. It would always make a loud pop and a puff of smoke. We did this several times per class (basically whenever the teacher we distracted with another student), but we were never able to kill one of them. A testament to their build quality, I suppose.
