Why was Frank never on this show??? He was always around the group during these years too!

Swing Auditorium Elvis Presley, Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead and Led Zeppelin all performed here before it was destroyed by a plane in 1981 😔

The “Infrastructure” in question is doing just fine. Building dense is the most cost effective and efficient way of building a city! Suburban sprawl is terrible for infrastructure. Single family neighborhoods will be bankrupting cities across the country sooner rather than later. Traffic is a problem but it’s not a population problem. Its a car dependency problem. RTA is going to add more routes to help move people around this valley but the only way to get more funding and to improve public transportation is with density!

There’s some industrial on the east end of Murrieta but it’s considered “light” but the key difference between the “warehouses” in south rivco vs north rivco is that these are business parks where stuff actually gets made these are warehouses made specifically for manufacturing while in north rivco its warehouses specifically made for logistics aka massive storage units Menifee is getting warehouses now but I believe they’re not for logistics

You guys should check out what’s going on in Murrieta! Over 5,000 new apartment units will be available later this summer/early fall and construction of a mixed use low income housing project is finally being framed! We’re so back baby đŸ™ïž

RTA is also $1.75 but it’s currently free all summer! 🌝

Increasing supply is bringing down rents in LA and Austin, San Diego is not building enough housing to meed demand

This was passed to me by a friend that received an email from people wanting to start a strong towns group for Riverside!

basically a conversation starter to create a subgroup for strong towns, Strong Towns is an organization focused on making cities and streets safer and accessible for all! They tackle road safety, drunk driving, housing costs, zoning, beautification, car dependency mostly pretty much anything that can make a city “stronger” and safer! Check it out on instagram @strong_towns

“We will increase the police budget by 5 million that is all folks”

There are drunk drivers all across the globe but their streets are designed where if you’re drunk in the city you’ll crash before you can get enough speed to kill someone IE roads are the widest roads I’ve ever seen even in residential areas, it would be more cost effective to invest in safer streets than increasing police budget

If you check out every mass shooting in the USA for 2024, there was a car crash that killed the same amount of people or more as the shooter in the same city but guess which one got more coverage?

Every city I traveled to in Argentina had a really cool grid system! Even the smallest of towns had a grid system I wasn’t able to check out La Plata but it’s my favorite city to look at on maps

Public transportation only gets better with more density! It can’t just magically support itself lol there has to be more demand as well and the best way to create demand is to inconvenience the driving experience make people choose public transportation over driving

I think I mentioned this before on this sub but I’m gonna mention it again! During the pandemic, California DMV did not have behind the wheel driving exams! They were handing out licenses like candy!

There’s about 5000 new housing units going up in Murrieta and should be finished by the end of the year I recommend reaching out to these first they may have move in deals

There’s a Facebook group called San Diego 20s it’s pretty active and friendly

Best public indoor court is Bob Glass gym in Perris

Have you
idk đŸ€·â€â™‚ïžâ€Šreached out to her and asked what’s being done to combat these issues? You know you can go down to city hall and ask to speak with her directly right? Or if she’s not available you can schedule a meeting! 😃do you know you have rights? Constitution says you do!
