I also think that Shadowheart is popular because she’s the first one you get in your party, she works for both good and evil playthroughs, she’s like the only primary companion in a support class (I think) so people are bound to have her in the party at least at the start, and tbh her romance is super easy. (I got rejected by Karlach first playthrough SH was my fall back)
