All national polling in the two Trump era elections to date has had the two major party contestants pretty dead even. I doubt a meaningful national popular vote election would see that big a gulf in victory for either side.

Putin made a public offer for ceasefire last week, which tells me they’ve probably made other offers in private. It wasn’t good and needs to be negotiated but this does need to be negotiated at this point. It’s gross that the Shit heel gets to keep some land but sending more people to die needlessly with no chance of flipping the situation is absolutely stupid. Set a line, end hostilities, create a DMZ and move on with what’s left.
