As someone who was in CS mg team i had many queer and trans workers, all I have to say is only one was similar to you, one of my girls would get misgendered and called rude things (Him, It etc) I always stood by them by calling them Ma’am and their preferred name in front of said customers. She needed a few meetings to sit down and talk about issues with coworkers and my managers solved those issues day of. Im sorry your Management didnt have your back, but you seem to have forced a lot of time for your issues, probably time and effort your team wasnt prepared for and overtime (especially weekly meetings with paper trail) it became a better issue to sweep under the rug then to address. Im sorry, but the coupon issue is a fireable offense (as stated to you in your training), so theres no real way to trace this to queer. i wish you luck and the best, living in FL you will deal with worse anti- LGBTQIA+ views and I hope you find a good place for yourself.

its not, thats theft. They go over it extensivly how cutting costs and eating extra coupons are a big no-no in the CBT (videos) you watched when training. Any discount or coupon code need to be used when necessary, otherwise publix has grounds for firing. If a manager follows through or not its up to them. If you really think this was discrimination, due to sexual orientation or gender, bring it to HR with ample evidence, quotes, dates and times and theyll handle as they see fit, if not id drop this.

When I was CSS my first store had a broken one, learned how to count coins, bills etc by hand first, moved stores and had no idea how they work LMAO, still used to be out 30 mins before anyone else and perfectly balanced

NTA, seems that neither of you respect each other and are trying to outdo one another, he seems like the main culprit which seems to make you feel like the issues you’ve had for years are NOTHING like his. I would always punch at sched time, go a bit early? you got an extra minute or two to scroll, HOWEVER as an adult id recommend you take the amt you want, take the 30 or take the few extra mins you gave yourself, NEVER TAKE LESS THAN 30 MINS! :)

Of course theres ups and downs, but publix does provide a lot of benefits, decent health, dental, vision, offers decent flexibility for PT and FT, Personal TO is better than lots of jobs, managers are 50/50 but good mgrs carry, fun coworkers, i could go from complete silent for 3 hours to non stop busy and chaos in patterns (which is smth i love being scheduled and then able to predict and determine what im doing per hour per day, give or take). Corprote taking away managers running and deciding their own dept is where the mistakes start in my opinion, let the mgr run as they see fit. The long list of tweaks and changes they keep making makes dept mgrs and crew jump through hoops, nothings ever good enough etc.

YTA for not having priorioties for your husbands event over SIL, YNTA for how you tried to handle it, you tried asking and he seemed alright with it, then after it settled for him he shouldve said outright that he disliked and didnt feel appreciated by it. He shouldve approached it like an adult and said he wanted the whole weekend for his milestone over the SIL milestone. Reevalute which you would rather attend fully as well, although a nice weekend birthday trip is beyond anything for me, i hope you guys still enjoy the trip!
