One of the issues I've always had with necromancy in books deals with how weak the mobs tend to be. If every knight can bring down a dozen zombies before they fall, how is necromancy even dangerous? If even normal farmers can take one or two down it's a net loss. If the mobs make some bodies too damaged to be raised again, it's a net loss. So, why is it anything more than an annoying pest?

My solution to the problem is two fold.

1) The one raising the undead siphons some of the dead's memories and knowledge. With the more powerful ones being able to gather a larger and larger portion of memories. Some are even powerful enough to raise dead that keep their knowledge. A master swordsman that keeps his skills and is no longer limited by fatigue or vitality is a terror. A mage that doesn't care about mana overuse while still being able to use their spells is a nightmare. Etc.

2) The net loss issue remains, or at least it did. I have it so that powerful enough undead have an aura of undeath. Basically, anything that gets killed around them is brought back, including other undead. The more powerful the undead, the larger the aura is. A powerful enough lich can revive entire armies. So it won't matter how many zombies you kill when they just keep popping back up as soon as you put them down.

Having the capital to even begin. You need money for everything. You need money for the product you plan on selling. You need money for the advertising. You need money for the website domain. Etc.

Sure, you can lower the cost through a lot of different ways, but, you can't ever start with $0.

Same. I leave the spiders I find alone. As someone who's a walking happy meal for mosquitoes I love being in rooms with spiders as the amount of bites I get drastically decreases.

Sort of for me, sort of for my mom.

The story takes place back when I was younger and prone to fractures due to my disability. I was coming home from an operation and we were having a really hard time getting me into the car due to my leg being in a cast from hip to ankle.

We were really struggling. I was almost crying from how it hurt. Mom was almost crying from how she could only do so much for me. We couldn't even get in a good position to do it due to how the parking spot was on the side of a big road in manhatten, NYC.

And just randomly, one car pulls over in front of us, a man we've never seen comes out. Asks what's wrong. Picks me up. Puts me in the car.

Another story I have:

Back during my first ever fracture, when I was like 12, my parents and I were off on one of the Carribain islands when my leg just snapped under me.

On our way to the clinic (no hospital on the island) a random med student helped me out. He held my leg in such a way that the pain was much more manageable. He held it until the ambulance thing came. He held it in the car as we headed to the clinic. Despite all the potholes and bumps (dirt road). Despite how it was like an hour and a half away. He sat there with me, holding my leg in place.

Become a successful attorney that can provide for my family.

Maybe? Looks like those surgical gloves doctors use just black rather than blue.

Depends on a bunch of stuff, primarily the context.

For example, my mother wouldn't respect my opinion on organic chemistry as I've had no experience with it. Meanwhile she has a masters degree in the field.

But my opinion on legal matters? Yeah, I'd know more on it than she would.

I... I spent far too much time on the first pic thinking 'where tf is the fireman'.

I'm confused. I swear I've read a similar headline a few years ago. Isn't this like years old news at this point?

For me it'd be Caps.

The guy has been dominant in his region for years. A lot of these other players used to be good. Caps used to be good and still is. Caps came into the region and has basically dominated within it ever since.

Sion

The new sion is consistant. It works. It's safe.

The old sion was so much more effing fun. It was silly. It wasn't really 'fair'. But it was fun.

I wish they pulled his damage into the new kit.

When we reached out for the stars, we sent out a dozen ships.

But be were confused as to why we suddenly had thirteen ships returning.

Haha wtf

Are those even trees? I thought they were bushes, especially with that wagon trail looking bit.

Either way, size ain’t all. Rek is an entity from the void. The same things that drove Demi gods mad. The same things that took an army of Demi gods to contain. Maybe he’s way bigger, but won’t help much if she’s digging around in his body where he can’t reach.

Put in a fuck ton of money into research and the sciences. Just how much can we accomplish if we funded shit a lot better? Energy, Colonization, mining, math, health, etc.

The main thing that's stopping me is time.

I have my exams coming up so I'm studying all day and by the time I have some free time I'm too burned out to write.

Idk man, pretty sure it's still frowned upon. People are just polite enough to not say anything to the narcissists face.

As a kid I've always looked up to those big jobs. Lawyer. Doctor. I was expected to become a doctor due to my family being mostly in the medical field. But I think I've always leaned more toward being a lawyer as I've always loved the power and beauty that can be reached through language.

Recently finished law school.
