Whole heartly agree on the pitching aspect, don't really think we have a solid 3 or really anyone in the bullpen that can come in and shut down a game.

I hope so you just can never tell, for example that Georgia freshman walk on currently leading the SEC in like every category. AU gets a bad wrap for this season but has played in a lot of close games (like those 2 @ A&M) this season.

Well the rule just got implemented in June of 2023, so this is the first recruiting class it will affect. You could be right, but I think it could benefit AU. A shorter timeline might mean recruits want to take first offers instead of left holding bag by bigger SEC teams at the beginning of their senior year before signing day.

My bad I just didn't want to type it all out. Basically No contact or going to camps until August 1st of junior year, after that they can contact however they want.

September 1st recruits can take official visits to colleges but are limited to one. They can take as many unofficial visits as they want. Coaches can't meet off campus until July 1st of their senior year.

After this they can basically meet as much as they want. The reason I posted was because back in my day kids were committing (verbally) when they were like freshman. This limits the timeframe so much more.

NCAA Changes Baseball Recruiting rules for 2024Baseball

So apparently coaches aren't allowed to see or speak to recruits before August 1st of their junior year. Auburn hasn't bee the best this year and I'm afraid this will make it worst for us. We'll be scrambling for players after they are dropped from bigger teams. How do we get around it? Burner Phones still?

Rules Changes.

So apparently coaches aren't allowed to see or speak to recruits before August 1st of their junior year. Miami is right on the cusp of being a major powerhouse baseball team, I don't think it'll affect us much but could give us smaller room for error when recruiting. How will we get around it? Burner Phones still?

Here is the breakdown.
