The idea is Arthur is Rhaegar's best friend and he asked for the Daynes for help getting them to Dorne or provisioning the Tower of Joy. There certainly would've been a wet nurse at The Tower of Joy sent from somewhere otherwise Jon wouldn't have survived the journey.

I personally think she and Arthur are both dead. They're symbolic of the death of the the chivalric knight and beautiful princess and how this world is no fairytale.

The Valyrian Jaenaera took her dragon alone exploring Sothyros and there's mention of an Elaena Targaryen co-ruling alongside her brother. It would also make sense why Alysanne had such strong ideas about Daenerys being heir and then Rhaenys after Aemon died. It's not like they came from nowhere.
