Try cleaning your bed with soap. I had similar issues recently and that fixed my first layer problems.
Only way to find out is to dive right in my guy! Fairly new myself and found the software part of it pretty straightforward (although i already had some CAD/CAM experience). Is when you want to learn how to design your own 3D models is where the complications start imo.
Check for a clog in the nozzle. And i would replace that plastic extruder for an all metal aluminum one off Amazon. Those plastic ones don't last and will cause headaches.
You may be sitting a little high still by the looks of it. And 70 bed temp seems a tad high, try 60. Assuming its pla.
I had a similar problem, center of my bed was slightly lower instead. Replaced the stock bed with a PEI one off amazon, no issues anymore. Plus much better adhesion and easier to take prints off too.
0.2mm setup in cura? Did you change the standard nozzle 0.4 to 0.2?
I'd say a bit excessive but each their own lol
Brand new to the hobby and got my ender 3 a month ago, just upgraded the springs, extruder and bed. Everything else stock and its been producing great prints for me. Honestly think its different for each individual and how mechanically inclined they are with dealing with these machines.
I think im still too new to be giving advice but heres my 2 cents.
-Take your time setting up your machine, do not rush it, poorly put together machines will never produce good prints.
- Learn from others mistakes/mishaps. I'd say I've learned a good bit from this sub and other machine specific subs just from reading what problems others have and what people have suggested as a fix. Helped me immediately identify a clog in my nozzle. I've found the 3D printing community to be very friendly and helpful!
And what the above guy said, i dont plan on getting any major upgrades for the machine until i NEED to. These machines are pretty impressive already from factory.
Hope this helps! GOOD LUCK
Thank you! About 14 hours total, 0.2mm layer height, 215 nozzle and 60 bed temp, no supports 😁
They come in all sizes 👍🏼
Used for extracting stripped screws, it bites into the material as you turn it
Have you tried cutting that printing speed in half? 100mm/s seems a bit fast.
After many cubes, i still have bulging corners (plz read attached text)
