unless its really is just united states of "America truck sim"
When is Newfoundland or Canada going to be officially in the game?
ATSThey gotta finish the US first, or they triple the team so they can work on the rest of NA.
I wonder if they will eventually include at least Canada and then Mexico. As a Canadian, it'd be nice to have Canada in the game.
IIRC the devs said years ago on release that their ambition was to do Mexico and Canada too. However their focus will be on finishing the USA first, so I wouldn't expect any moves to make content for Canada or Mexico for many years yet.
Why specifically Newfoundland? If anything that'll be the last area they add, since it's the most geographically isolated of any region in the Americas besides maybe Alaska.
It’s American Truck Simulator though.
Edit:
The game is called American Trucking Simulator. Not America Trucking Simulator. When you say American you are referring to citizens of the United States of America. If you were referring to Canada if would be Canadian. No one calls Mexicans and Canadians Americans. They don’t call themselves Americans.
Trucking in Canada and Mexico is very similar to trucking in the US. It'd be silly to exclude them on the grounds of the demonym given how much additional content they'd offer. And teleporting from Washington to Alaska would just be weird.
It's about context though. In many conversations, America does mean the US. But America describing geographic North America is also valid. For something like ATS, the former is more applicable since 1. It"a based on ETS which isn't locked to 1 country, and 2 IRL trucking in Canada and Mexico is almost exactly like it is in the US, so it makes sense to eventually expand to those countries rather than release a different game.
Even from a. Business perspective. SCS is gonna make more money off of a few Canada DLCs and a Mexico or Mexicos DLCs than the effort of a whole new title.
The game is called American. Not America. When you say American you are referring to citizens of the United States of America. If you were referring to Canada if would be Canadian. No one calls Mexicans and Canadians Americans. They don’t call themselves Americans.
The game isn't referring to people but geography.but you're either confidently ignorant or a troll. Have fun being a little bitch I guess?
It would sound a lot better as North American Simulator then
Yes, and we're in North America. We're just in the United States OF America. Everyone from Canada to Mexico is (North) American.
It's not called United States of America Truck Sim.
Its called American Trucking Simulator. Which refers to citizens of the USA. No one calls Mexicans and Canadians Americans. Don’t be obtuse.
They hated him because he was right.
Yea, they really don’t like reality.
Explain ETS then?
European…? That’s a continent not a country. Which country refers to themselves as European?
Exactly. The country we live in is the United States of America.
Yea… and people who live in that country are referred to as Americans.
All countries in Europe actually do refer to themselves as European because there isn’t a singular country who refers to themselves as European. Over here, American specifically refers to citizens of the USA. Don’t be obtuse.
Literally every citizen on this continent, no matter the country name, is a North American. Stop saying obtuse, it doesn't make you sound as smart as you think it does.
North American is not the same as American. People from the USA are specifically referred to as Americans. Stop being obtuse.
