First started as sober curious 13 months ago. 35 yr old Binge drinker, 1-3 day bender then back on wagon for a few weeks, repeat cycle. Longest stretch 27 days. My drinking has been getting me into trouble since I was 14. Here are all the things Ive tried:

-Podcasts and books -Always having yummy alternative drinks around -Have attended multiple social occasions and camping sober with no problem -Regular therapy -Confided in 2 family members about my alcohol issues -Tried an online SMART meeting but didnt love it because its not specific to one substance

Every time I drink now it gets worse and putting myself in dangerous situations. Those of you that have some time under your belt, around when did it get easier to get past those urges? Mine creep in at about 2 weeks
