The previous car was a 2014 WRX. 263HP, turbo, AWD, and a huge boy-racer following. These cars get wrecked by wannabe rally/street racers who think "AWD, YO!" gives unlimited traction at any speed and in any conditions.

I'm late-40s. No tickets in 15 years. No accidents. Live in a major city. Switched to a 2016 Prius and my premiums went up $240/year. My insurer (State Farm) says it's due to the car being two years newer and the driving style/accident statistics related to Prius drivers. So... Apparently you all are running some sort of Prius only "Death Race 2020" sort of thing and I want in. ;)

Really though... What gives? Cost to repair? Theft?
