Just installed eXoDOS for the first time. Full version w/ media pack installed to external 2TB HDD. Did not previously have LaunchBox installed so the only version on my rig is the one that installs with eXoDOS. The installation was time quite consuming but appeared to complete correctly. Installed size on disk shows 1.07TB.
Launchbox launches correctly and displays all the games. All games show as not installed and not downloaded. Trying to launch a game calls CMD window to download and install like eXoDOS lite version. The game zip files are definitely present in ~\eXoDOS\Games\MSDos, showing 7,633 files for 523GB.
The media add-on stuff appears to be all good, correctly launching from LB.
Is there something I can do to help LB see that the games are already all on disk and do not need to be downloaded?
It's my understanding that you do need to go through the installation process for each game you want to play (and rerun setup to uninstall). I think to save space as 7K games installed from. Zip would take up more room and you probably aren't going to play all of them at once. As long as your images folder has all the metadata and you can peruse the library you can be assured that searches, filters, and playlists should be accurate.
