Help me choose please! Ben and Jerry's, plus a new brand called Belly Artisan Ice Cream

I'm going to the store later and saw they have the Ben and Jerry's banana Foster core flavor in stock. I don't usually do Ben and Jerry's, because I feel like compared to Haagen daz the quality doesn't taste the same. So I'm wondering if this is worth it for when I go, seeing as it's on sale and all.

My second question is if anyone has seen or had these Belly brand ice creams before. They seem to be pretty pricey, but the flavors look good. I think I didn't get all the flavors in the photo, but they have a decent selection. So redditors of ice cream lovers, help a woman out!

Same here. The B&J's is very cinnamon forward and overly sweet. I'd be all over that blueberry cheesecake flavor!

I ended up getting that flavor and one just out of frame which was pecan/chocolate/caramel. I tried a small bite of each, I just got back and yeah... Expensive, but DEFINITELY worth buying as a splurge! Really damn good, I haven't heard of them before but saw them stocked about a month or so ago. Now I'm just mad, because I'd eat these every day if I could but I don't like the price😂

All I need to know is where I can find that Ben & Jerry's flavor, because I've never seen it and I MUST ACQUIRE it with all due haste. With my luck, it won't be within a thousand miles radius 🙄

So I'm in Toronto at the moment and it was at Metro. So I always look at flyers every week though, and I swear some places will claim to have a flavor and don't. Or they'll have every flavor but the one you want when you go 😂 if you are in Canada though, try the new Haagen daz extras.

I promise you they are ten times better than Ben and Jerry's, and the extras layers are even better and won't break your spoon when trying them. The new extras layers are like this one, except they have every layer covered instead the entire pint. Plus it doesn't taste artificial and has better quality ice cream in my opinion

Well shit. As I expected, nowhere near me since I'm in the central Atlantic region of the US. But it's crazy to me how they can have a flavor exclusive to Canada that's based on a dessert that was created in the US 😂. Those haagen dazs extras sound ridiculous too, and I'm sure those aren't in the states either. Now I have to find an excuse to visit Toronto just to try some damn ice creams lol

Oh, the ben and Jerry's I don't think is exclusive to Canada, they've been selling those toppers flavors and karma ones like the one pictured for a while. And I see people in the states posting them a lot, the extras of Haagen daz says it's in the states too but for some reason a lot of people have said they don't see them yet which is weird.

You said central Atlantic region, but that doesn't narrow it down much. If you tell me a state I can try and see where you can buy it at!

I've seen the topped and core b&J's, just not that awesome looking flavor. Def never seen the haagen dazs extraaz though, and I browse everywhere near me lol. That mocha cheesecake one looks ridiculous. I'm in Virginia, and honestly if there was somewhere within a couple hours, I'd find a reason for a day trip and take a cooler full of ice with me and get the ice cream lol

So I'm from Jamaica and I was used to more fruit flavors/non milk ones etc. (we do have milk ones it's just better for tropical flavors and ice flavors.) When I came to Toronto and tried the "dairy milk from Canadian farmer" stuff it was so good!

And although Haagen daz is an American ice cream brand, they make it here with premium Canadian dairy and it's better than when I had it in the states. I think here has different food law regulations so that may be why?

By the way just for the hell of it I tried seeing if any delivery apps/places you'd be able to buy them from in Virginia right now. And did you know Haagen daz apparently makes a bananas Foster version?! I'd LOVE that! 😂 It's definitely worth taking a trip if you can, all the chain stores sell them and we have good stuff like kawartha dairy, or even better is Shaw's premium ice cream!

Yeah I figured it'd be a no-go around here smh. But HD bananas foster sounds incredible as well. Would love to try some of their flavors up there to see if I can notice a difference in milk quality used. Welp, putting it on my list, if I ever go to Toronto I'll be making rounds to find some of these 😁
