Just get older. The older you get, you can straight up wear women's perfume and the only outcome is women coming up to you telling you how great you smell.
I'm looking for a bottle of lagerfeld I remember back in the day whenever I would smell that on amen I would just swoon it smells so good and I'm a woman I would just spray it in the air or I would wear it myself
I hear you I was only joking because I don't know if they still make it I think I saw it on Amazon but I don't trust it I'm going to go to Macy's and see if I can find it
Either way I think I'd prefer something that suits my character lol. That's sorta... the point of fragrances, as I see it, not just picking the one that smells nicest
Mid 30s 6’0, muscular(think strongman over bodybuilder), big beard…. I love my lavender bodywash and tangerine mint shampoo. I love smelling like something enjoyable, not “hardcore mountains climbing frat bro”. Smelling nice is the point of those things.
Amd remember, a man's body chemistry will alter the scent somewhat when worn from when women wear it. So just don't pick the best known scents and it generates a lot of nose attention.
If all scents are considered socially acceptable, then I wish there was one that smelled like gasoline. Brings back happy memories of fixing my dad's car with him :)
I've been told it doesn't smell like it to someone not wearing it, but when I've applied my Dior Fahrenheit, it smells like straight up fuel to me.
So I'd recommend trying that out sometime.
There is one smell that I love more than any other. I never get tired of it. I love it so much that I frequently find myself longing for it. It is called "unscented".
I always appreciate when something is unscented. Always
Yeah, though my reply to this was joking about my high school cologne, in reality any smell like that is just too much for me these days. Most make me want to sneeze
I would like one that actually helps counteract body odor. Most of the ones I try just end up somehow mingling with it and enhancing it to the point that my deodorant seems to do nothing.
This hypothetical seems pretty close to my reality. The only reason I can really think of for why you couldn’t where the scent you want is if it’s like a super expensive name brand one. Personally I’d like to smell like oranges and vanilla and I’m in the process of making my own perfume to do that.
There's a wax melt that I smelled a few years ago that I wanted as a cologne, so I'd pick that. I don't remember the name or even what brand, but the description on the label was leather, tobacco, vanilla, and either musk or amber. It smelled like what I expected an old time gentleman's library would, one of those libraries where there's a fireplace on one wall and a leather couch that is mostly just for company because you have your comfortable armchair for when you're actually reading.
Dolce and Gabbana "K". It smells amazing. I have a bottle now that I got as a gift, but $115 for 3.3oz is a bit too pricey for me to wear it every day.
Thinking about it in psychological terms. The main reason for wearing cologne is to impress and attract potential mates. It would make the largest impact to wear a cologne that was the most popular during the most impressionable and active of said mates life, so around 14 to 18. I personally prefer older immature women, thus I would wear a cologne that was most popular in the mid 80s. IRL I wear Calvin Klein Obsessions for men.
Im a dude, but I'd love to smell faintly of apple pie. Not strongly, but if someone took a close sniff, they'd notice. I love apple pie with a burning passion, and smelling it every day would just make me happy
On the exceedingly rare occasion I actually wear any, Obsession by Calvin Klein. It's been my go to for a decade. Probably outdated or whatever but I like it so meh.
Coffee. Specifically, Folgers. I live the smell of coffee in general, but Folgers, to me, has a very distinct smell and is the best smelling of any coffee.
Bath and Body Works used to sell a men's cologne called Elixir Red that was my favorite scent to wear. They stopped making it, and I haven't been able to find anything like it since
Whatever that smell is, right before and right after a huge storm in the country, the kind that leaves you without power for a while, leaves and branches all over your yard and driveway. You can smell it coming, and you can smell it leaving. Damp cement covered in puddles and mud, the sunset reflecting off of it.
Just clean, eau natural clean me. I work with animals. I smell like shit, hay and fish on a regular basis. Just smelling clean all day would be a major upgrade.
BOD, I don’t think it’s a cologne. It’s the cheap body spray you can get at Walmart. I have others that were pretty expensive, but I like this spray because by the end of the day you’d have to be wearing my clothes to smell it. It doesn’t last for hours like the good stuff.
The best smelling cologne was Gucci Envy from like 2001. It smelled like you had money coming out of your ass. Something about it made everyone come smell you and get all horny weird
I bought a new old stock bottle a few years back for $350 and it still smells great even 20+ years later.
Been my favourite scent for years, it’s one of my “special occasion” scents … mostly because it’s over £200 a bottle so there’s no fucking chance of it being a daily 😂
Tom Ford Lost Cherry. I want a bottle but $600 for cologne is a bit much.
