Been a proud owner of GCP EVO for 5 months now and finally getting consistent with latte art. Loving the espresso journey so far!
What beans, what milk?
Mayorga and Kirkland Organic 2% milk
God, I read that as Mahoraga and Kirkman. Been reading too much Jujutsu Kaisen and Invincible I guess.
Fantastic cup though!
My problem all along was not using Kirkland. Of course!!
That great with 2% milk. I only use whole since it’s just a bit fattier and easier to froth.
I haven’t noticed a difference in frothing between them, only when drinking lol
Yes, great job!
Beautiful
Looks tasty af. Good job op. 😄
I’m so impressed you’re frothing milk that good on the gaggia, do you have any tips for a gaggia owner who can’t froth so good lol?
Transitioned to a single tip steam lately and that has improved my milk consistency a lot. I do recommend this mod if you don’t have it since I think this has made the biggest difference. For the steaming process, purge for about 5 secs when you flip the steaming switch and then start steaming before the steam light turns on. This, in addition to the single hole tip will give you a higher steam pressure that will last much longer. Having the right size pitcher is also important. I started with a 350ml one but found that to be too small. The milk would heat up too fast and I couldn’t incorporate the foam in time. I switched to a 500ml one a while ago and that made steaming a lot easier to control. Other than these, make sure you have a vortex going on and don’t incorporate too much air too fast.
Oh the single tip steam is interesting. Do you have a link for where you got yours?
There’s one on amazon that is slightly cheaper than the one from shades of coffee
Do you make multiple drinks at a time? I have the same issue you describe with the 350ml pitcher but I only need to stem milk for 1 drink at a time so I can't really use the 500ml one :(
Doing one at a time also. I use 10 cups and the amount of milk is perfect for this size. You can see from the pics too that it doesn’t fill the cup all the way
how many ml of milk do you froth for one cup in that 500ml pitcher?
I still can’t figure out how to froth the milk on my Gaggia 😂
Congrats. That frothing is silky smooth.
EXACT SAME SET UP!
🔥🔥
I’m convinced my espresso machine just has the shittiest steam wand.
I have that same coffee bean print mat !!!
Stunning. No notes
Well done
What cups are you using? Beautiful art!
I'm a cafe barista. I'd def serve that.
This is probably the most convincing post I've seen to upgrade my Bambino to the gaggia ... Nice work!
Yes. This is the way.
fantastic, great job!
Looks awesome!
Very solid lattés on a CGP, I really struggled getting great milk on it so props.
Nah. I want to see a T-Rex. Then you've made it.
Caffe late nirvana there! Great stuff ☕
This is eerie! I have the exact same Gaggia, the exact same knock box, and the exact same milk pitcher!
Nice latte art.
Don't forget to come post your pours on r/latteart
The cups make it even better
Fellow GCP evo owner here wondering about your experience with the flaking boiler? Did you experience the issue/get a replacement?
Haven’t really had an issue with that luckily. I did notice some really tiny particles after descaling a few months ago but haven’t noticed anything else since then. I did get an uncoated boiler from WLL which I think I will install if I do the gaggiuino mod.
You don’t see them ‘cuz you’re ingesting them, just can’t see them. Not good for future health. Change the boiler lad. Or whole setup.
But, congrats. That’s actually a master piece of latte art.
Gotcha. My parts for the gaggiuino came in recently so I may swap my boiler with that opportunity. How was the process with WLL?
Not bad, they were pretty open to solving the issue. There was a little delay on the responses but overall satisfied with them. I should mention that I bought the machine on Amazon and they honored that too
How did you know that’s an Evo, I have the same color machine and it’s NOT and Evo is older.
How do you like the Eureka? Just grabbed a zero myself, came in yesterday.
Seems reliable and it’s doing a good job so far. Dialing different beans is pretty quick if it’s for espresso. I can see it being difficult to dial if you switch to other types of coffee though
I do espresso only so I think that'll be great! Thanks.
Incredible! I hope to reach that level of skill!
Looking yum!
What cups are those?
Mora Ceramic 10.5 oz cups. Got them on Amazon

Looks very good. How much ml does the cups have?
What’s your technique for frothing? I’ve been improving only a little since purchasing a Profitec 600 in January.
Well done!
What grinder is that?
Nice work!
Jealous!!
👏👏
Very nice! Did you find a pouring technique tutorial that clicked for you?
How do you get the foam so well? I've been trying for 2 years and I still can't get it!
Wow! Impressive
It looks so beautiful 😭. I hope I'll get to this one day
That is gorgeous! I consider myself lucky if my latte art looks like anything at all. Usually I get “that’s a butt, dad.”
Goddayum
That's it. You've won life!
Believe it or not some people like sugar. It's not really that crazy.
I’ve been known to tame the occasional too bitter lungo with turbanado - am I shunned lol.
Sorry, but I just cannot toss out every substandard shot.
I don’t like sugar in my coffee, unless it’s a cortadito from the Cuban coffee place, then I like a lot! 😂
I'm just personally fond of a latte or cappuccino with a bit of sweetness. Maybe some vanilla, or chocolate. Feels decadent honestly
Yes!!!
Lol it is sugar. I don’t use it personally on espressos or lattes but I use it when I make espressos for family and friends if they ask for it
Live your life! I like a good bitter/sugar contrast at times with my "bad" pulls.
Finally, the endgame cup of coffee.
