Pics were taken in and around como, again pls don’t leak locations so they don’t get trashed anymore, more pics can be found on insta @como_explore. Tbh there’s not really any other locations in the area, so I will prob be exploring around the St.Louis area, DM for any questions I am always happy to answer. If you are to explore, take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints :)
Adventures from around como pt 2 (I ask that y’all not disclose locations in order to preserve what is left)
InterestingTrue art requires the bold
Always the dick. smh
T.T.P
Some awesome spots you found! Thanks for sharing the pics!
I accidentally drove by that silo-meets-cabin brick thing once when GPS took me way out of the way of my backroads destination.
WTF is it?
It's an old grain elevator where farmers would store their grain before sending to market
It's been called the pepper mill for at least 50 years.
are the first 8 photos all of the same location? if so, does anyone know the story behind it?
1-4 and 5-8 are two separate places. My guess for 5-8 is somebody started building their dream house, but ran out of money, or something happened halfway through construction. It doesn’t appear that the interior was ever fully furnished as far as I can tell. There’s electrical work around the house, and some carpeting/ tile, but it’s missing drywall throughout most of the place.
Was just there last night and would love to know lol
I love and regularly visit many of these spots myself! Fantastic!
ugh my curiosity makes me need to know where these are even though I know I'll never actually visit them
The tile silo is a landmark on the Katy trail. I don't think it is very secret.
stop trespassing on my families land-we will prosecute
Can't tell if this is a joke or not. Never been to any of these sites.
If this is a real comment I would say to report it and also message the mods about this. Keeping this on the subreddit just asks for more visitors.
Which one belongs to your family?
so you intend to keep trespassing on the others-go ahead and take a chance-from what i have been told my uncle keeps a shotgun loaded with rock salt
Aight
Are you the prosecuting attorney? maybe you meant to say file a complaint for trespass. make a criminal complaint. you don't choose to prosecute.
:(
How do you find these locations? Do you genuinely just walk in the middle of nowhere and see what you find?
Fascinating collection. Thanks for posting.
You should understand there is no such thing as abandoned property. Just because buildings on the property have fallen into disrepair doesn’t give anyone the right or permission to trespass, graffiti or vandalize. The property owner is still paying taxes, may have plans for rehabilitation or development. If you don’t have permission to be there, you could be arrested. If you vandalize or graffiti, you are a scumbag.
I don’t take anything or graffiti, also bruh it’s not that deep
Nothin wrong with graffiti.
If it’s legal, it ain’t graff.
The actual issue is that no one in this town has a hand style worth a shit and they don’t take pride in their tags. If they spent more time in their black books with their tags, it’d be nicer.
Nah. If it's abandoned and some propector is sitting on the property, waiting for it to go up in value, without any development, it's fair game to visit. We all have no option but to be stuck to this blue ball and greedy scum that wants to keep space all to themselves can suck a fat one. Let people enjoy and explore these places if you've got nothing to do with it.
Facts
As I said, there is no such thing as abandoned property. You suck for stealing a homeless person’s shopping cart left in the woods for a day as much as you’re a scum for vandalism on a building there. Having no respect for other’s property isn’t cool just because someone has done better or is smarter than you.
Nobody asked
That old grain silo is cool. My nephew made an amazing drone video there.
There is nothing in life I'd like to do more than wander through abandoned places like these just to admire/appreciate them... except my fear of falling thru a floor & shattering every bone in my ankles, fear of getting arrested, & fear of getting robbed/worse if I'm alone won't let me :,)
Any of these happen to be the murder house by Battle?
You don’t need to go into detail on location… but what is the story of a murder house near Battle?
Look up Cinde Kemple-Buchner.
Surprised you didn't come across any squatters. I'm from a small town and exploring abandoned places was a thing I've had many great nights doing. I'd like to know some of these spots but I also respect why you keep the locations discreet. Have fun and keep us updated on some other cool locations you come across
What?
Cool, you took photos of crack shacks. How interesting.
Amazing that someone would risk life and limb two stories up to spray paint a dick on a roof, LOL
