I don't at all understand it either. She's actually been more levelheaded and calm this season than before. But, honestly, I don't think that part matters. People are allowed to dislike her all they want, but there's no excuse for this level of vitriol. They act like she's not only committed a heinous crime, but that she's committed it against them.

I don't get it either. I would bet if someone did a statistical analysis of posts from this season ones dedicated to her would make up 75% of the content which is ironic since they claim she is a nobody who brings nothing to the show. I honestly think that in pop culture spaces as much as it preaches feminism and women empowerment it often comes at the expense of another woman. It is easier to tear someone down to highlight how "good" someone else is than engaging critically and understanding that even reality stars are humans with complex emotions and responses to situations.

It’s wild and honestly confusing. This is the first season I’ve actually enjoyed watching Lala and felt she was much more level headed. I actually found myself agreeing with her a lot.

I really don’t understand the level of hate she’s getting.

Because that sub is filled with a bunch of deranged weirdos who are living this disturbing parasocial relationship with a reality tv character who they don't know and who could not possibly care any less about them.

A lot of them have really taken this entire situation to heart and I think they really see themselves in Ariana. So they have an outsized reaction to anyone questioning her because to them it means they're being questioned.

I'm sure an actual therapist would have a field day with that lot.

As much as they're calling everyone misogynistic I think they're actually displaying some misogyny bc they're actually out here saying that lala is somehow worse than Tom Sandoval, which is crazy. Women are held to a way high standard and villainized 10x more aggressively. I think lala didn't have a good season and played some bad cards but the fans are absolutely rabid and I personally don't want to see her entire career and life ruined over how loyal or not loyal she was to Ariana.

It’s mind boggling, especially the amount of people who are like “BRING RAND ON THE SHOW” like you’re that pissed off at Lala trying to make a TV show that you’re calling for her abusive ex to be cast on this show? It’s disgusting.

Now they’re posting about how Lala “buys her followers”, but yet Ariana has more fake followers, less engagement and likes..

How do we coup against the VPR subs to stop the pandering!!!!

That’s why I find this hidden gem of a sub so refreshing. Some of the users on the vanderpump sub seem to lose touch with reality and forget that they too are fallible individuals who would likely curl up and die due to shame if their identities were somehow no longer hidden as they viciously come after literal “tv personalities”.

It’s absolutely ridiculous to see how ugly people get when they think they can get away with it. None of them would say a quarter of the trash they talk directly to any of the people they’re slamming so hard. I’m just thankful that this group was created because I truly thought I was the only one who felt weird for having an opposing (and rational) perspective of events while also wanting to dive deeper into some show conspiracies or basic post view chatter.

I love it that there’s a few posts now of people questioning the hive insanity. Viva la Resistance!!

I don’t get it. I always tend to side with the one that’s not kissing ass in every single scene and seems to speak their mind more. Erika (RHOBH), Candiace (RHOP), Marge (RHONJ) and on and on. Generally ones that most people don’t like. I’m like look I don’t put that much energy in being Stan or a hater for any of them but I find myself either agreeing with what they’re saying or appreciating that they’re at least speaking their minds. Lala falls into this category. Her delivery may not be the best, her words may be more animated than some but damnit I like her 😂 on the flip side of it Scheana gets a lot of hate for not speaking her mind and kissing ass. I’m like dudes and dudettes, what is that you want?! A kiss ass or a truth teller/call it like I see it person?

I straight up don’t get it either. I think Lala has spoke a lot of truth. I think the problem is they don’t like the message and it being truthful because it fw whatever narrative they have in their head and they’re just doubling down on it no matter what. It’s all so over the top. This shit isn’t even that bad. I feel like these people are stuck in high school and have never experienced any real adversity or something.

I also would love to use their reasoning they use for Lala. They’re just straight up jealous of Lala because Lala is that b****. Lol

It’s crazy! Last year they all loved her for going so hard on Rachel at the season 10 reunion. Now they despise her because she spoke a lot of truths at this years reunion & she called Katie out for things she had said about Ariana (just not on camera) & the fact that Lala had her ending scene saying what most of us felt about Ariana this season (I mean Ariana did coast through this season!) and most of these subreddits are filled with Ariana Stan’s. I honestly can’t believe it’s still this bad in these groups, it’s been well over a year! Makes me thankful for groups like this.

I’m a fan of spoilers and have peacock so I get the episodes the next day but still would go on to see what was being said. Reading that sub v. watching the show are like watching clueless and lord of the rings and trying to compare them. I would start the show expecting drama and instead just get like, a pretty regular conversation? I thought she was really articulate and clear in what she said without being aggressive about a sensitive subject throughout the season. Ariyoncé just has some really traumatized fans I guess

lol I literally came over here because a Lala hate post hit my feed and it was so wild I was like no more scrolling the feed just gonna go look at barvolevity!

I also did some listening to Scheana’s podcast and she literally says that halfway through the season, the producers said that they had enough of the two separate groups and that if they didn’t bring it back to one full group of friends, they were going to cut the season short and cancel the show. Ariana was also told this and Schena directly asked Ariana how to navigate the situation and Ariana said she would not help Schena figure out… To me that made a lot of sense and explained A LOT of what happened and especially Lala and Schena saying things about needing to do it for their kids… they weren’t just assuming they needed to do it or loose their jobs, they we’re directly told they needed to do it or loose their jobs.

I feel like it would be extremely frustrating for someone to be told they needed to not ice out Sandoval or loose their primary income when they have kids to feed and have Ariana and Katie treating them like they are complete assholes for not icing him out. Especially when Katie is talking shit about Ariana when cameras were down (which come on Katie has hated Ariana up until Ariana offered to help her make her dream of a sandwich shop come true and now she is pretending to be the one true ride or die when we know she is being incredibly fake to Ariana’s face/the show).

Ariana ultimatum paired with production’s ultimatum forced them to look like they chose Sandoval and be the villains and the other sub does not have the sense to see that.

The things women will say about other women in order to defend someone they believe is a better woman will never cease to shock me
