I recently started a website using a trendy template on Blogger. It looks pretty good on my computer, but when I check it on my phone, the layout isn't great.
The weird thing is, when I scroll around, I can see a web version that actually looks good on mobile. Is there any way I can make this web version the default for mobile users?
I'm not too tech-savvy, so if anyone has any simple solutions or tips, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks in advance.
OK, I see. Your blog theme has 2 types: the "web version" for desktop and a mobile version for mobile. You want the desktop version to appear on both device types. So you need to disable the mobile theme.
There is an easy way, and a hard way.
The easy way is just going to the Theme settings, click the dropdown arrow, and choose Mobile Settings:
You will get a pop-up that lets you specify using desktop version even on mobile devices.
That is the easy way.
The hard way is to modify the XML of your theme file. This might be necessary if you're using a 3rd party theme.
What do you mean a "web version"? Do you mean the theme is changing to some sort of mobile version on mobile, but you want the desktop version to display there?
