Not sure if genuine question or salary flex.
It’s a question they already know the answer to. 100% tasteless salary flex.
Nobody flexing 100k salaries anymore….
Troll poster is Trolling.
10 years ago this question would have been laughable. Today its legit…
Yeah people are laughing at OP, but he’s only left with 25k or so after taxes and necessities. That isn’t enough to save for a down payment
You can live very very comfortably as a single person on that salary
I know several people who get by with 35-40k so I’d hope so…
110k is easily livable. Our family of 7 lives on just 50K.
My family of 12 lives on our wits alone
Luxury. I'm a single parent with 23 children and I have to pay for the privilege of working 80 hours a week.
That’s around 75k after tax. If rent is 3-3.5k a month, then you’re left with around 35k. Let’s say you spend 500 a month on groceries and 200 for phone/wifi, then you’re left with around 26k. Netflix is like 16 a month so that’s another 200 or so dollars gone also, and transit is around 200 bucks a month (although this is dependant on you), so that’s another 2400 gone a year, meaning you’re now left with around 23k.
With 23k you can max out your TFSA and have some extra wiggle room for entertainment, travel, etc. So IMO yes it’s livable (although others can certainly disagree).
If my math is wrong pls someone correct me lol
