I have a kobra 2 max, it has happened many times that the version of the model goes sideways and prints as if nothing happened, what is the problem?
The problem could be over-tight wheels on the cross slide. It is fairly common on the steel rod linear rails the printer uses.
This can be tested by sliding the extruder left-right by hand when the printer is off. The movement should be completely smooth.
The adjustment is done by rotating little eccentric cams that position the rail wheels. Here is a video for the Kingroon printer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtjRE-4neVc. The procedure should be simlar on the Kobra 2 Max.
If you try this, I'd appreciate feedback on the results.
I will definitely tell you about the result. But at the moment he is busy with long-term printing and I don't want to touch him while everything is fine
It's called layer shifting. The gears/belt/pulley has slipped.
The machine only know show many times the stepper motor has stepped. If the motor steps but the belt slips the head doesn't move and now isn't where the printer thinks it is.
So the printer only knows where the stepper motors are and simply assumes that the head has moved the same.
You need probably need to tighten the belt. Also check this article for more information.
