My partner (M) was recently diagnosed ADHD which is a huge win for him! I am currently being medicated for anxiety and depression (reasonably unsuccessfully) medication makes me cry less often and the lows are not the depths of hell but there is now absolutely no highs no happy. My partner suggested that maybe ADHD is actually what I should be seeking more information on and that he in the background has been doing his own research on female ADHD and recognises multiple traits in me.
I am just wondering what made others take steps in finding their diagnosis and what where the signs could you see in yourself?
EDIT: I am so overwhelmed and heart warmed by how many responses there have been. Such a supportive community so willing to share and give support no matter where someone is on their journey. THANK YOU for sharing your stories!
