First one. 2nd one gives me: 'I'm a bad builder, and i know it' vibe, while the first one says: 'I'm not a bad builder, see? I used cobblestone, have a slanted roof and have windows!'
Statistically, the second house is worse: It's more vulnerable to being blown up, burning, and a waste of wood.
The first house however is better because of cobblestone's natural blast resistance, it cannot burn, and it uses a common resource you can just find anywhere, and one that you'll likely only resort to using as building blocks.
I don't think "statistically" is the word you're looking for, as that would say something along the lines of "many people tried both, and found one worse"
The comment could better be described as a utilitarian point of view, meaning it cares more about functionality than looks
Second one is worse because not only is it just a square with no texturing, but it also is too tall to be one floor and there isn't any visual representation of where the ceiling/floor is.
I feel like the cobblestone base is, just because theres nothing filling in the windows. You don't want to die inside your base because of a skeleton or baby mob
We should turn this into a Minecraft subreddit
