I just saw what looked like either an asteroid or a falling aircraft hurtling towards the ground. I’m in central district, it looked to be a bit northwest of me. It was almost exactly 10pm.
Am I seeing shit or did anyone else notice that?

Saw it in north end of West Seattle (40th & Admiral SW). From my view it appeared to be falling right on Harbor Island
the Eta Aquarid meteor shower is still going on, best seen at predawn...maybe you got an early shooter

Yes, very bright yellow/green. Looked like some object on fire falling from the sky. It fell so fast I didn’t get a proper look at it.

They call them "green fireballs." There have been something like four or five in WA in my lifetime... and I've been indoors during all but one.
I saw something like this last Thursday in SLU around 11pm. I kinda convinced myself someone straight up threw something on fire from an apartment building.
I saw it last Thursday before midnight between Redmond and Woodinville! It was too quick to record. I thought I was crazy or just saw a firework!
