I was going to say something, but you raise an excellent question... wtf were they filming for...
Because, and I bet you've never heard this one before, it's a staged skit.
Staged skits!? In my reddit feed??
Sacrebleu!
"At this time of year? Localised entirely on the front page?
May I see it?"
- "No...."
No. They wouldn’t?!
That's preposterous!
It would explain of course why the old bat didn’t pepperspray them the moment they touched her.
and downvote i do. on to the next post.
Can I double my downvote and give it to the next person?
It would have been so much funnier if the dude stole her walking trolley and left her standing in the middle of the street

Man what? The other joker is talking about it being staged now you think someone was filming a partially disabled geriatric cross the street a busy intersection out of kindness?
People are not always serious
I take random videos of the intersections when people happen to randomly be crossing.
Perhaps this is a problematic intersection and someone was diligently doing their part to collect evidence to bring to the city?
That all being said, I do think this particular video is staged.
Yeah, after someone pointed out the car blinkers and the lady slowing down, I can't suspend anymore disbelief.
“Don’t believe every video you see on the internet” - Abraham Lincoln
Mocking an elder for delaying traffic? You gotta remember, most of these occasional cameramen aren't good citizens
Absolutely, kindness goes a long way. It's so important to have patience and empathy, especially with elders who might be struggling. Instead of mocking, offering help can make a world of difference. And you're right, sometimes those capturing the moment aren't setting the best example themselves. Let's focus on spreading positivity and kindness
My mom falls for these videos alllll the time. And then I literally just pointed out why is someone just standing there filming this?? I think I blew her mind with that
Cuz they staged the entire thing and blocked the traffic.
You mean to tell me that's not an old lady, but....Rob Schneider as an old lady, playing an old lady, playing an old lady crossing the street and these two fine gentlemen just happen to roll up and take her across the street without anyone wondering if they are stealing her/him/Rob Schneider?
Rob Schneider is… A Stapler! Rated PG13
The person walking was already sus
Because it’s staged for clout
The question for every post on here.
Because it's clearly staged
Yeah, and they missed the opportunity to dumb her in the truck to get even more likes, karma and followers.
Omg dont lift random old people up wtf
Relax, it's a movie.
lmao
Yea UP is a movie about an old person... that lifted himself perfectly fine!
"Halp, these strong sexy men are kidnapping me".
It's OK because that random old lady is actually just a college frat bro with lots of makeup on with the addition of CGI.
Useless*
circles, by definition, are pointless
I thought they had an infinite number of points.
Turns out both subs exist. They need to fight to the death by means of out red-circling each other.
Staged
This is weird. Please keep your hands of dissabled people unless they ask for help. Out of respect but you might hurt them too. I dislocated three fingers because a man couldn't wait for a few second and rammed my wheelchair trough a door post. Just wait until an older person has crossed the road.
Edit: 🥹 wow, the upvotes, I didn't expect that. Very positive to see so many people feel this way too and respect others. There are so many good and nice people in the world everyone. Focus on those people!
Yep, I was hurt by a man who lifted me after the ramp broke on a bus. If he'd have let me explain he would have found out I can stand and walk a little, so I could step up, just slowly/carefully, and only needed help getting my wheelchair up. But he had to be the hero, and the whole bus ride my ribs hurt where he grabbed me (without asking) to lift.
Some people just don't fucking understand the fact that what people often need from you is patience, not speedy physical intervention.
They'd rather seize you than allow you some time.
I know too many stories like this. Sometimes it is assault, often it's on the border of assault. But focus on nice and cheerful people that don't project their own issues on others. There are way more of them!
Second this. What’s wrong with waiting. So demeaning picking her up like a child and not even asking if she wanted or needed help.
I means it’s staged but yeah
True but what message is it trying to send out ;(
Yeah, this seems more dangerous for everyone involved than if you just let people cross at their own speed. Have a little patience.
This is not helping either. It’s so important that old people walk on their own if they are able to.
Indeed, from what I hear, many plan their day like I do. I plan what to bring/ I can bring where, when I'll walk, when I use a wheelchair or walk behind my wheelchair until my body tells me I'm doing more damage than good. Doing too much isn't beneficial but neither is too little.
Forgive the entirely unsolicited advice but I really recommend looking into a rollator that converts into a wheelchair! It’s been a real game changer for me and is designed exactly for the days when you can walk a little but not enough
I'm glad you say this. First thing I thought. I find it very annoying when people start helping me unsolicited. I understand that it is often well-intentioned, but it can be dangerous and I also want to do my own things. My independence is very important to me. Please respect that and ask if I need help instead of taking over without asking.
If this means that others have to wait a little longer, this is probably very annoying for them, but I think they will survive. There is nothing wrong with practicing some patience.
My first thought. Even if this was staged, this is not okay.
This would cause my grandmother excrutiating pain because her shoulders aren't good. Do not ever lift and carry a stranger.
I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. It's important to be patient and respectful of everyone's personal space and needs. Thank you for sharing and raising awareness.
Wrong song.
Luda move would have been much more appropriate
I'ma tell you like this bitch, you better not walk in front of my tour bus.

LMAO she started off a bit too fast and had to slow down when the car arrived
That's actually not helping 😖
Thank goodness for that red circle otherwise I wouldn't have known where to look!
As staged as Broadway
You can't JUST HAUL a frail old lady across the street like that omg
staged
Impatiently moving a woman around like an object isn't kindness.
I hope the woman gave consent. Personally I would hate it if people did this to me. And how much did it really help? Who knows how long her full trip is, maybe this was only 1% of her total walk. Maybe she also likes the walking.
Considering she was an actor in this made up video, yes she did.
You are absolutely right. I only realized how annoying it is that everyone wants to help you unsolicited and takes over things from you when I became disabled myself. I hate it when people do this without my permission. In addition, it can be dangerous and painful for the person in question to be touched / lifted. I agree with you that you should always ask for consent.
I half expected them to leave the walker out in the median… maybe my sense of humour needs to chill for a bit…
Plot twist, she needed to get to the middle of the road to pick up something she dropped and now she is further away than when they picked her up
This felt like they were impatient and wanted to "politely" rush her rather than just let her finish.
Blocked up traffic longer that it would have taken her to cross 😂
"Aiight we gotta hurry this shit up"
Also, is it kind to pick someone up like that? Seems like a personal invasion…
Would 100% hate it. Probably staged anyway.
Reminds me of a joke. Once 2 students were late for school by 2 hours. When they reached school, the teacher asked why they were late. They said they helped an old man cross the road. The teacher asked why it took them 2 hours. They said that the old bastard didn't want to cross the road, so we forced him to cross the road.
Hollywood Florida. I see le tub saloon
When the circle came out I was expecting the lady to be punted
To margaritaville, and beyond!
They just keep running with her
ngl i thought they were gonna toss her in the back of that work truck for some fucked up reason
Always. Always they put garbage tier music on these videos.
Ok, but stfu with this cringy background music
I think that's great, but when I'm old you better fkn not try to pick me up.
Grandma on her way to margaritaville.
Why are they filming?
I was waiting for them to carry her across and then take the walker and put it in the car
After the helpful driver left, she's crossing the road again.... 😆
Aaaaaand back to hurting, very wholesome. You guys have zero empathy I'm convinced if 30 seconds of pain relief is considered heroism..
The most gangster thing I ever saw.
The funny thing is that she really has to slow down for them to catch her in time lol
She was doing fine on her own tho
She was almost over the road though. That must have felt embarrassing.
no words
Lmao this could’ve ended up in a totally different sub
I thought they were gonna dump her to that truck
Yeah cuz this isn’t staged at all 🙄
The real story is why is she going to Margaritaville?
Didn't see the sub name and thought they were just gonna chuck that walker
Had his homie filming & zooming in on this ‘kind’ act
Lmao they just wanted her out of the way quicker
💝💖💞
Wow. So spontaneous. Like the camera was in a perfect position to capture this humbling moment.
Thankfully they put the red circle there
This is so staged that’s it’s actually uncomfortably awkward to watch.
Im glad someone was randomly filming while these two gentleman were helping Mrs. Stagey Stagerson across the street.
Always ask why there was a cameraman…
never pick up an old person. They'll just break
Mashallah
Grandma: Thank you boys. Now, straight to the Margaritaville! Wooohhh!
Granny’s goin’ to margaritaville!
She had to get to that margaritaville!
Make sure you get their permission first lol.
They took her away again, to margaritaville.
In Florida they’d have gotten shot for kidnapping
Gay music!
Loved it
Kind humans being kind humans..
Good job! It's nice to see there are still responsive people these days. It used to be the norm but now it's a rarity.
Now people only pretend to do this for online views. Like in this video . It’s staged
Why are these staged filmings with "educational" purposes so comon nowadays?
Even if it’s staged… this sub is “made me smile”. Not “this real life interaction was real and the realness was so real that I smiled, really”.
Thought they were gonna throw her in the back of the truck 😂😂😂
How can this shit have 2.9K upvotes???
2,8k bots and a few idiots.
You know what makes me smile? How stupid OP is.
Without asking for consent. She's just an obstacle that needs to get out of the way. No thanks.
Bringing her all the way across was nice I thought they were gonna yeet her to the middle and dip or leave her at the far end without the walker lol
This is so staged it hurts
staged and even if real not kind or nice at the slightest.
2 douchebags severly overstepping personal boundaries to get to their destination faster.
basically the same disgusting behaviour as pushing people in wheelchairs out of your way.
I was terrified for a second as I saw the altima pulling up

Cars are stupid
Kinds of kindness is about cruelty.
damn, thank god there was a red circle there, didnt know where i was suppose to be looking at
I was lowkey expected em to throw her into the truck
I'm glad they added thay red circle so i knew which car to look at
I tought it was a test dummy and this was a video to show the car stops automatically!!
It's actually reversed and they kidnapped an old man :(
Would’ve lost their car in DC
Blacked*
Ok♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Yeah sure.
Let’s give ourselves a Halo today. And endanger other ppl while we do it. Plus let’s wait to find a random filming in the same area
And I thought someone's going to steal their car..
I've always been curious how that's supposed to work. I never understood how we were supposed to help the elderly cross the road
Yes, and this wasn't staged.
They were arrested for assault and kidnapping by the way https://www.google.com/m?q=laughing+meme&client=ms-opera-mobile&channel=new&espv=1#vhid=xcZfffM9hOHsZM&vssid=_keaDZvSaIYTThbIPg-m70AM_38
And then the police shot them for kidnapping?
Play from 00:21 and change the BGM to GTA SA THEME SONG
i can’t read bruh i swear instead of kindness i read sadness
Me when 5 big black oily men surround me
Milli Vanilli?
That was adorable lol
Lol now she turns around and wants to cross back again.
I thought they were gonna steal her lmao and why was someone filming?
And of course someone just happened to be recording the whole thing, right?
And that was the day she changed her mind on immigrants
my heart
If this were real then they would have returned to someone smashing their windows in a fit of road rage for not advancing on the green.
Is this in the movie?
everything about this post absolutely sucks but it's funny how you could swap the music with something else and change the tone entirely
