Oh and before anyone says anything, yes the artist is a Nazi. But a broken clock is right twice a day.

They kinda do shit on each other a lot tho. As seen in talk surrounding old vs new artwork of Kemba.
Tig ol biddies are still there, covered by armor
The funny thing to me is I don’t get why they are avoiding female skin below the neck on cards these days. Like are they trying to take the high road here? Because they still shamelessly use sex to promote their product. A week or two ago if you opened arena the first thing you saw was some chick with her cleavage hanging out for a link to her YouTube video or something. Half the videos I see promoted in their YouTube channel are hotties of a caliber I’ve never seen in my LGS. Their official story podcast is read by ladies with simpering valley girl accents. I mean I’m ok with that but I feel like they should own up to the fact that their promoters are shamelessly not representative of the magic community and not pretend like they are taking the high road by avoiding any suggestive women on the cards. Just pick a lane guys, any lane will do.
The difference is the promoted women are choosing themselves to dress that way, where an artwork could be implied that someone just wants to use sexy imagery to sell/"appealing to the male fantasy".
At least that's how I'm trying to rationalize it, pbly more of a "we want to promote women" paired with women on the internet using their looks often to sell, while the image they want to promote in game isn't sexualised
