Saw this post on the Three LIons subreddit and all i got to say is they are a bunch of ungrateful, clueless clowns. unbelievably delusional. Bellingham was poor aswell and it goes to show you, one goal changes the entire view of ur performance. Too many kids and idiots on the internet. Kane was dreadful. Missed chance after chance. Especially the golden chance Foden created from his cross that Kane missed. Saka did nothing aswell. But no mention about them. Declan Rice is literally JOGGING back without a care in the world when Slovakia scored. JOGGING. This agenda and hate only really exists cuz foden is the best player in the premier league. Media x Arsenal fans got foden rent free 24/7 like he's sabotaged the entire team, like he's southgate.

The fact and reality of the situation is that Southgate didn't heed the warnings in the group stage and he's paying the price for it. Another dreadful performance and England nearly bowed out to an embarrassing defeat to Slovakia with 0 shots on target. Everyone in the tournament has been underwhelming. make the changes required in playing foden at 10 cuz it ain't working at LW despite the few good moments he's had throughout the tournament. Gordan and ollie watkins and toney getting no minutes for example. Jack Grealish, one of the best creative players for England. I can go on. Don't get me wrong. Foden hasn't been good enough and up to his player of the year standards. But the blame ain't entirely on him considered his ability gets limited when he's forced to stay wide. Give him the keys to the team like Pep did by playing him centrally as a 10 and reap the benefits. Play a balanced midfield around him. That's what the previous tournament winners have done. Won with balanced midfields.

Fact is, this is an england team that just aren't clicking. a team of superstars and world class players that aren't clicking as a team. Southgate is hugely responsible for not cultivating a group that understand each other so well. England play anything like this against Switzerland and they'll get slaughtered. We're at a point in the tournament where individual quality won't be enough. England purely scraped a flattering 2-1 win due to a moment of brilliance and individual quality. Toney did really well aswell. Instant impact off the bench with the winner.

Forgive me if i sound a little biased and heated, but these are just my thoughts in the heat of the moment.
