24 Breakout
I love blue and chrome together.
I said I wanted something blacked out, no chrome like a Low Rider S. But this color and the chrome just pops and I couldn’t pass it up.
Black is overdone, that blue is sick!
"Hey what bike is yours" "The balck dyna" Looks at a sea of black dynas
I generally do not care for chrome, but I’ve got to agree with you. Great combo here.
Very Nice!!! I’m a big fan of the breakouts…
My dream bike. Someday.
Love the breakout! I’ve heard good and bad things about the handling. Some say it’s a straight line bike, others say it’s great in twists/turns. What do you think about it?
Still learning the bike and biking in general. Seems good so far but I haven’t driven it too hard yet.
Right on, enjoy it! Sexy bike!
Definitely a straight line bike based off of some of the features it has, fat rear w/skinny front, extended fork rake, 21" wheel, and the low/wide drag bars. Ive always liked the looks of these things though!
I like it. Congratulations!
I have a 23 117 Breakout and love it. Great bike.
My first bike was a Breakout too! 2017, Still have it and still riding it after 5 years of having it. Moved the mirrors down below the handlebars and pulled the baffles and that’s it. Sounds great, still looks great and still rides like brand new. There’s something about the Breakout. Any color with chrome really does it and it’s the only bike I’d even ride with all the chrome crap. Happy riding!!! 😎😎😎
Welcome to the breakout family.
ugh the breakouts are MINT. love the colors. have fun!!! 🤘🏼
Every time I go to a dealer, the Breakouts catch my eye. The blue is gorgeous.
She’s nice 👍🏼
Wow beauty first bike. I started with a sporty
I’ve got a ‘20 and love it.. fun bike!
Looking good
Congrats man!
Nice good choice, good luck!
I have the same breakout 2024, get rid of the pipes, bro they suck bad everybody compliments my bike. Everybody loves the looks of it till you pull up to a stop sign. They go nice bike you rev it up and laugh at you sounds like a moped. Put a two and one header on it and you’ll be amazed at the power difference. It all adds on about 7 hp and sounds like a Harley not a moped.
The only problem is now I need a tuner for it and they don’t make one yet and I’m sure not buying a Harley Davidson tuner freaking garbage
The first thing I said when they started the bike at the dealer to take it outside for me to test ride is that it needs a better exhaust note. I plan to do something when I have the money to make it sound better.
I’ve also have a 2011 FLSTSE2 convertible CVO with the 110.
Had Thunderstruck cycles port the heads, 585 S&S gear drive cams 55mm throttle body and Van e and Hines pro pipe. She runs great but such a different power band than our 117. It’s all in the stroke. Are you in Medford area .?
I plan on having the heads ported and cam Put in it but that’s about it…
Enjoy your new bike she’s a beauty
Is that a pack attached to the back of your seat? It looks rad af. What is it?
It’s around one like over night pack I bought a DNS Harley Davidson I think they charge me $104 now, I have it in the front on top of my headlight which reflects the wind a little bit and the bugs and especially the rain
It’s very handy
Put some crash bars on that things it would suck to drop that and have it get scratched up
My only bike is a 2012 Fat Bob 96. I haven't got another bike because the Harley eats all my spare money.
Hell yeah, contracts and stay safe 🎊👌🏽
Welcome to the fam!
Just saw one of these at demo day, you got the best color. Ride safe and ride often.
Brother 🙏🏼
Damn! You went all out. Nice bike!
Hell yeah dude. Congrats! I bought a Harley fxd a couple months ago. Absolutely no regrets. Enjoy it and ride safe brother.
Here's one of my babies. I rarely ride this one. She sits in my livingroom along side of a Hayabusa build I also did.
Man just sat on the same color at Bergen Harley at demo day yesterday. Will def be getting it some point soon. Just need to figure out which one I get rid of.. the Diavel v4 or the Harley street glide.
Now u riding in style
The best thing on these is the speedo, I love it !
BTW, you can read and delete error codes on them. Just check how in the internet ✌️
Beautiful bike man grats! Now time to break in the breakout! Ride on.
Nice ride mate! Be safe or there.
Does the air filter gets in the way of your leg or knee?
Yes it hits my leg when braking. Might swap it out to something less in the way.
After I upgrade my house I’m gonna upgrade the deuce to whatever the breakout equivalent is of that era
Not trying to be passive aggressive or anything like that, but are you considering getting crash bars?
Shit, I'm not at all new anymore, and I put crash bars on everything
I was gonna order crash bars when I got my new bike last year, didn't, low sided the next day. Then bought them anyway after having to replace an engine side cover. Crash bars are never a bad idea.
This is the way!
There are a couple things I plan to add or change once I have the time and money. Crash bars would be one of them.
Congratulations on avoiding the first bike nonsense. So many people think there should be a progression to certain motorcycles. First bike owners especially women, should start with the 883 Harley or in the Japanese bikes some insist on Ninja 300. More nonsense.
The problem with going with absolute worse motorcycles out there for new riders, is that as soon as they start hitting major highways they get blown all over the place by traffic making them very unsafe frankly. A week or two with these so called first timer bikes, people are ready to move and have to again go through the process of buying another bike.
I started my girl on a Z750 and a Fat boy. 883, also known as Skirtsters, are so top heavy as a new motorcycle, that going through a quick left right motion on the bike, it takes work. The Fat Boy is a well balanced bike for newbies. The 750 is the same. No fear on highways and is also able to do the speed needed for major highways. They both are good in the rain as well. Ever see Ninja 300 tires? Terrifying in the rain. My opinion is such that they just aren't safe.
OP, that bike is a beautiful Harley. Best part about that Harley is that you'll grow into it as you get more experience and not outgrow it as a first motorcycle. A perfect choice.
Congratulations!
Please excuse my rant....lol
Dude I couldn’t agree more. People were so out of sorts when I told them my first bike was a Breakout and believe me, after riding like two or three others before it, this one made me the happiest. Something about the riding style of it. Every Harley dealership I go to wants to pull me off of it and put me on a touring bike. I’ll never sell my Breakout though. Last of the greats!
The dealer tried to talk me out of the Breakout as well and push me towards a Road Glide. I went to 3 different HD Dealers and each one recommended something different, mainly due to my height since I’m 6’5”.
Dude, exactly. I’m 6’2 myself and the forward controls, low drag bar, and just overall riding style sold me over any other model they had. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love a Road Glide. And I’m sure you would too, but there’s just something about that Breakout man. Folks literally wouldn’t understand; you either have it in you or you don’t lol. It’s not for everyone. It’s a different kind of machine. Way to stick to your guns btw!
I agree with you, but I think it can definitely be more intimidating to do low speed maneuvering practice on a heavy and very nice bike. Crash bars would help alleviate some of that.
Not disagreeing with you at all but I went from a Yamaha ttr250 to an old school sportster and to start with I thought shit this thing is heavy, obviously compared to what I was used to. I find my sporty very light and nimble while riding and I definitely don’t get blown all over the highway and do a lot of highway riding. My ttr250 though? Bloody hell, the slightest gust of wind would blow that thing around. Still love it but don’t ride it much. It’s all down to what the new rider is comfortable with I think. I’m an apprentice motorcycle technician and when I’m inside the dealership I sometimes hear the salesmen recommending bikes and it’s always different for women. Often something like one of those horrible cb125s with skinny wheels!! Really pisses me off. A friend of mine in the group I’m with is upgrading from an automatic scooter and thankfully not listening to what people are telling her she should get. I’m in Australia so Harley’s here are ridiculously expensive and a sporty was all I could afford, when I really wanted a dyna.
Everything Americana is expensive in the AUS. I was reading one article about full size pick up truck prices and they were insane.
Be there for your friend so that she gets a bike that she can grow into it instead of buying something potentially dangerous. Those 125's you mentioned or even the 300 Ninja's, terrifying motorcycles in wind, traffic and rain.
If a friend of mine was buying one the bikes mentioned because it was all they could afford, I would pay the difference! ....lol
Yeah we definitely have the short straw on some things!! I’m not sure what pickups you’re referring to because we have our normal Aussie utes and hilux’s and things but then we have the dodge rams etc like you guys have and they’re extremely expensive, so I’m guessing that’s what you mean. I couldn’t pay the price for something like that!!
Oh I will be 100%! Luckily she is 6ft so they won’t really be able to recommend one of those 125’s but I’ll definitely make sure she gets something she is comfortable with and not what they think she should have. You’re correct those bikes are dangerous, in the wet especially! The group I ride with another friend of mine is on her learners and had one. On a ride up some country roads we got caught in the rain and she just tapped the back brake around a corner and it went out from under her. Those skinny little wheels are no good! I would 100% pay the difference if I could, lucky she’s got money in the bank for something decent.
Yes, you were correct in that I meant the full size RAM 1500 Limited. Insane price.
As for your friend, used is always better then new. I have zero clue as to what your market is like but in North America I buy used all the time. As long as the oil has been changed and the motor is good, the rest is very easy to fix up. An older bike can be made to look pretty damn good with a fender eliminator kit, axle plate mount, new headlight etc etc. On my side of the world she could save half the price of new with a solid used bike. I hope it's the same over where you are for your friends sake. Let me know what she ends up getting.
I'm sorry to hear that wipe out your friend took. Hope she was ok. Perhaps one good thing can come out of it is, it can used to convince your friend buying a bike to stay away from those skinny tire bikes for her own sake.

Quick question OP, is that rear tire size stock or have the rear swingarms been changed to accommodate a bigger tire?
I've always loved that rear fat tire look. The next bike I build I plan on a rear fat tire kit but, will be doing the same thing to the front tire. I plan on putting the exact same fat tire on the front, that's on the rear.
This is stock. They make the Fatboy with a fat front and rear tire.
Nice. It’s only Harley they are making that doesn’t need a bunch of upgrades day one.
Street glide st is pretty good out of the box.
That Blue fucks.
Congratulations! Be safe!
Love the Breakout..!!!
Love it
Nice!
Nice bike. Great color.
That color is gorgeous!
Damn.
Other than the bars, I love breakouts. Congrats! Very sharp bike!
Do you know the name of the blue? I don’t have a breakout, but mines impact blue
It is called Blue Burst
That’s beautiful. Enjoy it. Ride safe.
Congratulations
I love my 2019 Breakout. I hope yours treats you just as nice! Ride on fam!
I’m sorry this mf ugly lol
Lies
Also if you do a mirror swap from top to bottom like I did on mine, just be careful. It shortens the turning radius but if you can handle the bike, it’s the least of your worries. More aggressive look and saves the money of buying a new set unless you’ve got your eyes on some already.
Out of all the bikes at the dealership, I have to say I eyed these out the most. Beautiful bike and excellent color. Ride safe brotha.
