Hi there. I’ll be going to Corfu in a few weeks and I’m trying to decide where to stay. I’m not sure if I’m fully staying in a resort type area. I’m looking for a small town / village area with self catering accommodation. Ideally there’d be a beach within walking distance. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’ve heard that Pelekas might suit my needs

I can DM you an article I wrote on it if you want. I think it’s a town with beaches. It is considered one of the most beautiful areas of Corfu so does get tourists….if that’s what you’re tryin to avoid.
