FWIW I just let the computer tell me it’s time.
Which is funny because it seems like the computers on this truck are trying to murder the crap out of us.

You can pull your manual here. Don’t forget to document the work.

Why will you get downvoted?
I got a hybrid xl, put 7000 miles on it in first 2 months. I changed the oil at 3000 miles at 1 month. Why? Just because I'm crazy, but hey, it's my money, and made me feel better. Now I'll go to regular change period.
Oil change when the truck says too.
You should read the owners manual.
I’m pretty busy at the moment.
Read it while you’re pooping
Or check the FordPass app for oil life remaining. I think it calculates based on how close you are to the recommended mileage interval or 1 year, whichever you will hit first.
It’s 30%
How is it 30% with less than 5k miles? I’ve always done tire and oil every 10k with no problems.
I have no idea. That’s what my app says. It’s the hybrid .
I did my first one at around 5000 miles and had maybe 3500 engine miles (likely less).
They say 10k or 1 year. The first is usually early for most people as they wanna get the break in oil out. After that, sticking to 5k or the 7500k severe maintenance plan is likely what most people would do. Oil is cheap so it's more of a piece of mind topic imo.
Sounds about right. You're not going to hit 10k miles before 1 year / September 2024 and there's about 30% left in your first year of ownership.
Just took mine in for its first @ 3800 ish. Then every 5k.
Truck says 10k miles but friend of mine says 5k in the name of preventive maintenance
I also got my hybrid last September and right now have 5k miles on it.
The oil life meter says I am at 24% oil life and should change it in September 2024.
What a weird title. What are you trying to accomplish with that?
Oil change intervals will be different on a hybrid than on an EB.
You have 5,000 miles on the body of the Maverick, but there might only be 2.5-3K on the engine since a lot of the time it’s not running when you’re in full EV mode
That’s why every 10K is recommended for the hybrid since that turns into ~7K miles on the engine, or even less depending on your driving habits
