You are overencumbered and cannot run!
I believe you mean your squire.
Oh my god, I just realized the entire episode 2 Knight and Squire sequence is meant to be an in-joke about the player's dynamic with companions...
Keeping all the best armor for yourself, over encumbering them, getting pissed off when the ai makes them just stand there instead of helping, making them go first down areas you think are booby trapped, downing them with melee attacks or putting them in a pillory when they annoy you, ignoring missions that are important to them so you can explore, barely speaking to them when they make comments to you all the time, making them do thankless little favors for you like repair your armor pieces...
This show cuts deep.
Limping crippled and over encumbered to a gas station 👍
While desperately looking for healing items
God damn if it's not my average fallout 4 playthrough, stumbling my ass back to red rocket with my 500lbs of dumbbells just for the lead.
Hmmm…and here I was just picking up every pencil I could find.
If it isn't nailed down, it is being picked up lol
I was a lot more selective about my scrap in Fallout 3 and NV. With the settlement building in Fallout4, I learned that there is no such thing as bad scrap. All materials are useful in something.
Oh even before my settlement escapades I picked up everything like a loot goblin because it could be sold for caps. Every tin can was grabbed because...well money lol
Some may call it junk. Me, I can them treasures.
I def upgraded early to get the perk that allows me to run and fast travel while carrying too much weight.
While listening to the radio 📻
I can finally rest knowing I can carry a Fatman and power armour the right way lol
Lol. I felt like cutting off that one guys head was a nod to this. Because fast traveling with a raiders head or body part full of other things got me out of a tough over encumbered spot many times. Who else used dismembered limbs to fast travel?
Sorry, the what now?
Years of fallout and I never tried this. That's amazing haha.
I keep forgetting that trick :(
If I was at home and not work, I would give this a shot.
I don't remember if it worked in FO4. But definitely FO3
You can do what
I usually have Piper haul all those teddy bears, desk fans, toothpaste and the 50 other dozen misc crap i'm planning to scrap for parts and wonder how a skinny 5'4" girl can haul 150 lbs of junk and still run and fight like she's John Wick.
heavy diet of jet and psycho
Buffout
I like the lone wanderer perk and dog meat it lets me carry about 100-150 more
Str perk for fast travel while encumbered. Set custom travel point directy in front of workstation.
That’s good thinking
🤣
Overencumbered
Hmm. How bout that...we're all just squires aren't we?
player.setav carryweight 10000
Red rocket will always be my private settlement in FO4 with no other settlers
Mines full of power armor I’ve discovered. It’s the perfect place
this... I recently just finished a city settlement in starlight and then got back to red rocket, it's so cozy idk why
Nailed it
That's the only thing at 90%. Inventory would be at least 250% of carry weight max.
Well the wasteland's got a rule 'Thou shalt get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time'.
I need all these super glues, economy glues and other adhesive materials. Also all the aluminum I can find.
Wrenches and duct tape
The oversized golf bags and their unfortunate caddies had me cackling
woa... just look at those coolant prices! thanks a lot mr president!
Yeah that's correct. I need my 248 caps, and 120 kg of junk from looting everything not tied down in that dungeon.
Colt 6520 my beloved
And crippled
lol my brother's name in FO76 is overencumberedguy as he literally always overcarry things and have to walk the wasteland.
Thank god for the chat mod if not i think he would go nuts lol.
I appreciate his commitment to the gimmick, but don't you think it might be a way with just throwing his hands in the air at his hoarding problem?
It's partly his fault tho since he gets so into buying / trading 3* guns and armor lol so even if he wants to enlighten his load, he can't without losing a lot of value.
So he's a weapons salesman, but is he also a "classic FPS protagonist" that has to own and try every weapon of every type?
I am pissed they ruined this show, it's completely unlike the games. All the main characters should spend all their time collecting every last junky piece in the wasteland to trade in for bottlecaps.
Everytime I saw a fan in the background it’s like I wanted to shake the characters.
Nah, and accurate depiction would be dogmeat trailing behind me sagging under the weight.
I feel it :D
90%? Those are Rookie numbers! You need to push past the 100% and always be "you are heavily encumbered and cannot fast travel lol
I do love they got the RR very nearly FO4 spot on! Red Rocket places are my favourite places in game, loved it when Snappy Kits added all their parts to the mod.
Over encumbered, limb crippled, companion annoyingly nipping at your heels/getting in your way. Sounds right.
The show clearly doesn’t discuss the importance and inventory management enough.
Me on my hardcore mode (“because it must be nightmare survival roolz!”) searching like crazy for backpack mods.
Its not the backpack goodies from wish right Bethesda ?
Then he puts the stuff away and returns for it later. Also like me. 😂
Real
You’re just gonna make me carry all the heavy stuff are you?
My Nick Valentine carrys 680 gold bars, full T-45 armor set, bunch of legendary armor and 1 Fat Man that he shot me a couple times
Inside joke "over encumbered."
That class A coolant sure is expensive these days. Damn inflation
They need to make brotherhood squire companion that has extra carrying capacity
This was the one part of the show that I really just couldn’t suspend my disbelief.
He takes off his shoe and sock revealing a badly mangled foot. And then he just PUTS his sock back on?????! No trouble, no searing pain, completely unbelievable!
This is why the first mod and 100% required mod is a weight reduction mod. Or I'd never walk at normal speed after 20min into the game.
This should be a backpack skin for FO76.
Maybe only visible in this form if you're over encumbered.
Use the infinite weight tip in F4 would do. :D
in F3, no good way... :P
With the broken foot\limb?
Aaaargh that shit is annoying
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now to build a base on that roof...
POV me looking at my companion
