I am thinking of applying for a card with a 0% interest for a long time.. at least 15 months up to 21 months (longest I have seen.. longer is definitely ok) but once I finish making use of the 0% interest I’d like the card to still have some value. There is a BOA that is 1.5 % cash back which I don’t need. I have 2% till mid December on one, 1.5 % on two others.. one of those can be 1.75 % if I have direct deposit. Citi dc is 2% don’t really care for that.. custom cash I could like..other than that .. what about ones that can product change to a good card? Also I’d like it to have a high likelihood of a large limit. What I want to do is put a cheap card buy on it .. 10,000 or less .. likely 8000-10000 after down payment… if not really possible I will just get a car loan.. which I may do anyway.. just want to weigh things out. I already have a 16000, 7500, 7000 and some lower limit cards. A good car loan rate now is 6+ % I believe …I’d probably not qualify for the lowest rate and end up paying 10% id like to avoid that if possible
Are there balance transfer cards that can be product changed?
Help Needed / QuestionOk Ty.. I guess most o% intro I have seen were both.. I was not aware that there are 0% intro Apr and no deal on balance transfer.. I stand corrected.. ty.. I am more than 5/24 atm
The two longest I've seen are the wells fargo reflect and the US bank platinum cards. Each have 21 months of intro 0%, and they can each be product changed afterwards. US bank is more likely to give a higher limit, but wells fargo is more likely to approve. Depends on how many new accounts you have in the last year or so
Ty.. those can pc… I appreciate your help.. I’m right on 5/24
Welcome - Wells fargo doesn't seem to care too much about recent accounts (except their new attune card it seems), and US Bank cares about the last 12 months not really your x/24
I have had bank accounts with both.. always getting WF cc offers in the mail… never have for USB
I may even be 0/12 I’d have to check.. it has definitely been awhile.. actually probably 2/12 now that I think about it
