You see that empty bowl, Karen?! Why ain’t it full? Huh?!
Removed: Not JerkIt ain’t gonna fill itself!
In Soviet Russia dog conditions you.
Hey Julie, you know what DOESN'T make this loud, obnoxious clattering noise? A full bowl. A full fuckin' bowl, Julie.
Feed me!!!
Feed me Seymour!
Where tf did that phrase come from, I use it all the time but never knew where xD
Little shop of horrors, the giant plant says it to Seymour
One of the best shows/movies!
It really is, so entertaining. I just recently was made aware the Directors Cut has a Completely different ending than the happy ending I'm used to!
The ending that you’re referring to (if it is what I think it is) is the one from the musical, isn’t it? I remember our school production using that one.
Tagging as spoilers just in case. Both endings are for the 1986 musical with Rick Moranis.
The 'Happy' ending I grew up watching
The Directors Cut ending is much darker. It's Insane, so much extra footage not in the normal version.
Yeah, the second one is the one we used in the musical. Was being oblique as I don’t know how to spoiler on a phone!
Omg the space one?? It's amazing!
I thought it was a Simpsons reference lol
I always read it with Seymour's mom's voice
Seymour the house is on fire!
Seymour was the name of Fry's dog on Futurama. Co-produced by Matt Groenig, creator of the Simpsons. I don't recall this exact quote in Futurama but that was my first thought after reading this comment as well.
Do you like Rick Moranis? Steve Martin? Do you like Motown? Broadway? The occasional original SNL cast member cameo?
Meet "Little Shop of Horrors", a Broadway musical about a man-eating plant, and the nerd who loved it. The film adaptation is currently available to watch RIGHT NOW on HBO Max, or for rent through variois streaming services.
10/10. Highly recommend.
Feed me a stray cat.
It may seem obnoxious, but that little dude seems pretty smart to me
The real genius is when they figure out they can do it to multiple family members to get 2nd, 3rd, and 4th dinner.
smart jerks are worse than dumb ones
I like that the puppy doesn’t break eye contact. Lol
Probably cuz the owner taught the dog this trick and he’s waiting for its treat
My older dog is mostly deaf, but he responds well to hand gestures for basic commands. The problem is he doesn't look at me enough to know when I'm gesturing so I've been trying to train him to look to me frequently. This dog would have it down pretty well I guess if he ever loses his hears.
My old dog is deaf now. But he's also got arthritis and hip dysplasia so even if he understood the hand gestures he just ignores them.
Pretty subtle if you ask me
Anyone else have that illusion in this video where the bowl looked upside down at first? Really messed with my head when the pup put it down and it started rocking.
I had to scroll down to make sure I wasn't the only one!
Yeah thought i was crazy for a sec when i didn't see anyone talking about it lol.
You fed him 5 min ago, didn’t you..
1.5 mins ago
My fucking dog eats then brings me her treat ball to get more food, literally before she even drinks post meal
I see who wears the trousers in that home 🤣
“Please, sir, I want some more”
This should be on r/eyebleach
What monster left this bowl empty?!
Who's the jerk here?
Just because a dog wants to eat, that doesn't mean it should.
Many dogs are voracious eaters, they won't stop if you keep feeding them, they'll just barf and ask for more.
Can confirm, seen my cousin's puppy do it. 😫
Man I may have some of that voracious canine DNA in me cause I totally understand how those voracious eaters feel like..: 😂🤣
Dude, a good friend of mine had such a goofer as well. Wouldn't stop eating until the bowl was empty. Same with taking him for walks in the forest. He would literally zoom around, play fetch or whatever until he was so tired he couldnt walk back home anymore.
This was a 40kg labrador btw. We took him for walks a few times, and half the time my buddy had to carry him back like 2km.
That's why from puppy you should do free range feeding. Every dog that I have ever had, and I've had lots, have always had giant bowls of food just chilling. It's so much better than having feeding schedules, and they don't get fat on it as they know it will always be there. My guys will take a bite here and there throughout the day.
It depends on the dog. Some, like my dog, are voracious tornados that eat untill they can't then barf and eat again. Some get the point.
I wouldn't try this with a labrador
I'm pretty sure this is not applicable for a labrador. Mine will eat even if her stomach is like a football.
Labradors are a special breed lol
I do this for my dog. It works so well. Or at least it did till my roommate got a cat. Now he has to make sure the cat doesn't steal any of his unlimited food.
Lol my cats steal the food as well.
Lol, the problem is the cat has never eaten attempted to eat his food. I don't even think the cats mouth is big enough to even grab the dogs pellets. But as soon as the cat walks into the same room as the food the dog immediately downs it all, or at least stands over it like he is about to eat it.
The cat sometimes just walks by it to mess with him.
Lol my cat stands underneath my dog and grabs the bits that break apart. I think they work together. Will have to get a clip of it.
Cat being a cat
Sounds like an easy way for your dogs to get fat and disobey you
No they don't get fat, they figure out that food is always available to them so they don't have to gorge themselves when the "master" happens to bless them with food.
How many dogs do you have?
I have two that we’ve been free feeding and they’re both lean. They just eat when they get hungry, and because they know food is always there they don’t go crazy. One was free fed from only a few months old, the other started at about 1 1/2 years old.
I imagine it greatly depends on your dogs breed, age, and temperament. But we started doing it when we adopted our second, as the rescue we went to said they free fed the puppies and it was never an issue. It works super well for us, at least. YMMV.
My boys for reference https://i.imgur.com/Z5U6zQH.jpg https://imgur.com/a/uOh2r8b/
I have three male terriers. I could never free-feed them. They would kill each other.
I fostered a couple dogs, which were used to free-feeding, and they were grossly obese, until I put them on a feeding schedule.
I’m amazed that there are dogs that can do it. What breeds are yours?
They’re both kind of mutts, one is about 30% Australian cattle dog and 30% American pit bull terrier with the rest being a mash of like 20 other breeds. The other is even more spread out, I don’t recall which ones primarily except he also had a fair bit of Australian cattle dog.
They’re just really good dogs. They like to wrestle and play fetch and are well behaved though we didn’t do any extensive training with them. They don’t have that “crazy dog” energy some of my dogs growing up did.
Sounds like awesome dogs. I really wish mine were more chill. :)
As owner of a GSD mix and frecuent babysitter of a (thankfully well trained) husky mix, I am so jealous.
I get that people don't think it works but it really is the best way to feed them.
Here's my big babies
Before realising your dogs' breed, I thought they have some horrible skin disease.
I have always had two at a time for my entire life.
Amazing. Is either one fatter than the other?
Not really one is "larger" due to age but both exactly where they should be weight wise.
I’m glad it works for you.
I have had one dog that was free fed and another that could have been but he was on medication so we scheduled his feeding with administering his medications. None of my other dogs have been able to exercise restraint with free feeding.
What a little dude. 🤎
My German shepherd does this with her metal water bowl too lol. She will chuck it around the room until we refill it
My dog too! We tell him to stop flinging his bowl. Hahaha
not jerk if its lunch / dinner time
Even comedy timing with his bowl clanks.
Evidence of canine using a tool to obtain food lol
One day after clocks go back an hour.
When it was time to replace my last dog's bowl, I bought one specifically designed in a way that she couldn't carry it around. Not only did she bring it to us to ask for food, but she also took it all over the place like her favourite toy. We'd have to wander around to find it when it was time to eat.
That dog looks just like mine as a puppy, though he isn't smart enough to carry his bowl when it is empty
Edit, I've also heard he looks like a black mouth cur
Any idea of what breed? He looks just like my rescue.
Not really, I was told Shepard and Labrador mix
r/BlackMouthCur is just a bunch of people trying to figure out what their mutts are. Mine was called a “staffie mix” “GSD/Lab” and “Great Dane puppy” on various paperwork.
More like “humans being jerks” for letting that bowl go empty!
Ikr? Probably hasn't been fed in like an hour 😢
I fucking love dogs. They can be so intelligent, charismatic, intuitive, loving, and loyal. I’ve seen them be like children and siblings to people. I’ve seen them save lives both physically and emotionally. They give us their whole heart and what do they demand in return? Pets. Scritches. Dinner NOW. That thing they’re pretty sure is food in your hands. Belly rubs. My dog is insisting I love on her as I’m tying this, so of course I’m doing it one-handed.
I fucking love dogs.
Edit: Typing, not tying. Like I said, it was one handed.
There is no way they aren't sentient.
Yep. Definitely dog-speak going on.
"AND DON'T PRETEND YOU DIDN'T HEAR ME!!"
Haha my dog likes to throw his empty bowl around the living room until he gets fed
My dog used to do this. Kind of cute but mostly obnoxious
He's being pretty polite for a pup.
That is one intelligent dog.
This animal is not being a jerk!
My dad used to take his Sheltie with him to his law firm every day. One day, she interrupted a deposition this same way. Trotted in with her empty water bowl, dropped it at Dad’s feet. Yes, he paused the deposition to refill it.
What a beautiful floor
Thats not a jerk, that is a hungry dog. /s
Donde food?
They’re so smart
Oh, he's a smart one, for so young.
This dog is better than most people I meet at communicating what they want.
My puppy picks up her bowl and slams it down when it's empty. She does it as soon as she's done eating like it's a celebration
*isn't
What a jerk and so cute the same time. I'm in a rollercoaster of emotions right now
What an ungrateful little punk.
He's not a jerk he just wants food lmao.
Give me some food ASAP
Dog's like... "Alright you know the routine."
Why does the speech bubble have credit card backs on it?
Funny dog, looks like a Chinese dish on the table and rural household vibe
My dog does this. It’s cute until you get a metal bowl whipped at your face at 6am.
My beagle does the bowl flipping thing. She doesn’t do it with her bowl though because it has a rubber bottom and doesn’t make the horrid clanging noise, she does it to our other dogs bowl. She’s an older girl and sometimes forgets that she’s already been fed, but she’s also a gluttonous beagle, so we often have to put it up where she can’t reach it.
Fucking Karen
What part of "now" do you not understand, human?
😂😂😂😂
The jerk is the person for not feeding the puppy !
That’s a human being a jerk by not immediately feeding that pupper and bowing to it
I can already that this owner does not care to train their dog.
This is a case of the dog training the person. The owners probably let the dog do whatever it wants and don't know how to train it.
Seems like some people like to feel needed and maybe this gives them a "warm fuzzy". Just hope they don't get carried away with it! :/ Of course, that dog doesn't look like he's missed a lot of meals. Still, I don't to see this road gone down, because it might normalize something for the more "hard core".
🤦
It’s an illusion. It only looks upside down
No
Then what is holding it up?
The dog?
It’s an optical illusion.
It looks upside down when it’s not.
Yeah that really threw me for a loop. I couldn't see it until I read your comment
I was very convinced it was string and thinking… who’s gonna say it? It took me many times and a backwards re-watch to see the illusion.
I also saw it like this until near the end. The way it reflects at that angle does make it look inverted.
Feed them Karen. Fuck.
Animal is not being a jerk, the person filming is.
Where are my meat balls, Summer?
What breed? I love him!
He's hungry just feed him
This is the dog equivalent of a prisoner running his tin cup along the bars of a jail.

Just in case you didn't hear me the first time I will try that again.
