Sorry for laughing, but I am married to someone who NEVER takes a breath, rambling on and on. He dislikes when I interrupt to say I have something more important to discuss. There is not much I can do about it. He will calm down after a few minutes usually, and then I can make jokes about him running a monologue and he will laugh. My suggestion would be to talk to him when he's in a better mood and talk about it in an amusing or calm manner. If he doesn't have a sense of humor, then just a lighthearted discussion may work.
God, I know someone like that, I try to redirect them, because I don't want to tell them, "I've heard this before" jeeze, just how many times are you going to tell this and they have a tendency to talk, talk but never allow one to get a single word in edgewise.
If he ever put his hands over his ears and went lalalala I would probably just laugh, as that would be odd. In that case I'd probably just wait till he wasn't mad anymore to mention it.
