It's more complicated than that. Insured mortgages get lower interest rates. Then there is the opportunity cost. Pay less on mortgage and then invest the rest? I have done the math a few times and it's often close to a wash, but often paying less down-payment has the edge. It's not as intuitive or easy to calculate as you assume.

My daily is an '03 Kona Cop Special. My bike is old enough to legally drink here in Canada. Just keeps going and feels right.

I am literally outside watching my kids play. That was either such a terrible joke that is seemed completely ignorant, or just factually wrong.

Umm, no, they weren't here before Edmonton. Trains do have the right of way, but they also can be fined for blocking intersections for too long.

We do? We used to, now I don't think that is the case.

There are quite a few energy monitoring kasa devices sense doesn't support. In fact the list of devices it supports is much shorter than the list of ones it doesn't. Most of the supported ones are only available in the US, so if you live in another county you have to import them. In Canada, none of the energy monitoring kasa's you can buy at best buy or Walmart are supported. Sense won't see them at all.

Sense only recognizes a few Kasa devices. Even then, the support is terrible. At this moment, mine appear as off in the bubble screen and the devices screen. But if you drill down to the individual devices, it shows the current wattage. If you export the data, it seems fairly accurate but the app itself is hot garbage.

And my truck will come help you when you get stuck near my place. It's how we roll. We all help our neighbors when they need it.

You can't rent a truck if you can't get out. Every winter (yes even this last winter) we have multiple snows that would block us in if we didn't have a truck. The worse it is, the longer it takes the county to clear it. I would miss work and my kids would miss school. We wouldn't be able to get groceries, or God forbid medical help. You clearly just don't get it.

I hope PP wins the next election, but fails to get security clearance. That way we can have 'not trudeau' and also not PP.

I would rather my nutzoid relatives support someone like MB than be those cliche Canadians that support Trump and wish they could vote for him.

I am with you. We have an acreage and drive an EV most of the time (35k km on it so far this year) but still also have 2 trucks for when we need them. Sometimes it's to haul a couple thousand pounds of whatever. Other times is because of the meter deep snow that won't be dealt with for a couple weeks. City folk just don't get it. Sometimes you need a truck. Not all of us can rely of the government to enable easy day-to-day life. We rely on ourselves to get done what needs doin'.

Following gaming industry leads are they? Release the software before its done. Next we'll find out that things like historical mileage and economy are DLCs and scheduling features require daily micropayments?

Lol, no, but she sure does like to get a little sideways. The butt wiggle when applying power on corner exit is addictive.

My kids school run involves about 10km of gravel each way. I kind of want more aggressive tires now. I have some decent ones for winter, but still running stock summers.

If the trailer hit something in front sure. Not if the boat hit the stop from behind.

Its bent the wrong way for that. It would need to pull back to bend that way. Winching too hard is likely the issue. Or driving around with it strapped down properly.

It is on the Ford website, in both PDF and browsable formats.

That being said, the whole reason we are even discussing it is the app team has been lazily removing features instead of improving the user experience. Not surprised they couldn't be arsed to include a link.

"people complained these features were buggy, so we removed them".

That being said, just get a pdf of the manual online, read it anytime you want.

Door locking/unlocking isn't going away.

Ironically, the suspension is amazing on backcountry gravel roads. Feels like a little rally car, but it's huge and heavy. They did a good job there. Just watch out for the train tracks.

Only for apple phones. I got the TWRAPS charger and my phone overheats every time.

Or just thank him for the free fence and paint rainbow penises on the other side.

Could go the other way too. Maybe neighbordouche built the fence a few feet into ops yard because he felt just as entitled then as he does now.

You must be pretty young. Taxes have really only fallen for the last 15 years or so. Since the topic at hand is retirement savings for someone at the beginning of their career, you have to take a step further back to look at the historical trends. If you go back to the late 70's or even early 80's, you would see that we are paying significantly more today. Op probably has 40-50 years before retirement age (a number that has also grown significantly over time). Looking on those kinds of horizons you'll see the picture is quite different.
