Up to you, but for me I find the game quite hard, It's my second souls and I tend to maximize everything the game has to offer to make it easier, also, as I have a big backlog of games, I prefer if I spent max 100-200hours on ER + DLC. It's very personal frankly but don't feel guilty, just ask yourself how you want to play this

You need to understand that to make the game easier I need to learn how to make it easier and/or unlock the means (talismans, weapons,..) to make it easier :)

I played half the vanilla game with a thrusting sword (great epee) and a brass shield.

 I am absolutely not the type to voluntarily ignore mechanisms or cry because we can use torrent in the final boss fight, I just never sought to optimize my build further and I am now regretting it (and needing it)

 I need to take a step back, rebuild, re-distribute my points using Rennala etc before jumping back into the DLC

Yes when switching (automatically, some game don’t need you to manually toggle hdr) I occasionally have the screen that stays black and I need to power off/on

In normal conditions switching from hdr to sdr takes few seconds of black screens not 15 sec

Just enjoy the game 

 It sold 5 million already so it’s not like it damaged the momentum of the franchise   

People who are saying it’s too hard just had other expectations and did not expect for it to become even harder

I am getting my arse kicked and thoroughly not going to lie, yet, I am absolutely not complaining because that’s how I felt when I started Elden Ring.  I just need more tree fragments and more points in vigor m, had 35+ only, not enough for DLC imho

My fo32u2p has black screen bugs when switching hdr (stays black) and once the speaker deactivated which required factory reset to fix

All bugs are easily fixable with restart or reset so it’s a firmware issue for me.

Add to that DSC toggle and better HDR (more customization and tweaks would be great)

Giving a 5 s for moving under braking more frequently would help more imho

Verstappen did make a mistake here, I don’t know if 10s was too harsh and I don’t know if like football (the European one) the consequences should be taken as much into account 

I personally don’t know how people could call it underwhelming (or worse)

For the DLC (I am just starting it, getting my a#s kicked) I heard people mentioning 50 points (I am 35 currently)

100-110 EUR would have been a far more fitting price because aligned with the other high-end Noctua coolers.

Frankly, I have been waiting forever for this one, the price is disappointing (albeit Gamersnexus revealed the price earlier with their Computex interview) but their customer support, warranty, quality, noise and acoustics are good at least.

I will order one, assess it, I have the return window if I feel that the noise/performance are not worth the big price, but I am not ashamed to admit it (and frankly in-between the 14900K, full waterloop etc..), I am willing to pay 70 EUR more for better acoustics and 3-5°C less temps for something I will keep several years and will run for thousands off cumulative hours.

Especially better acoustics, I hate humming noise, I tried the arctic P12 and so many product, only Phantek T30 were amazing in that aspect for my case, I will now test the Noctua finally because my current 240mm CPU AIO is on its last leg and quite noisy.

All in all: money well spent and that’s the most important aspect

I think the nerf still makes it viable because it punishes extremities shots not things like damsge range, rate of fire etc

You paid a lot and burn-in after two weeks clearly feels like a defect to me, especially if the normal pixel refresh fixes nothing

It’s awesome..but as long as Gigabyte decides to ignore firmware updates I cannot recommend it

There are bugs, missing features we’d love to see etc

My most frustrating bug is that sometimes the screen turns black (especially when switching hdr off/on) and I need to turn off and on again for it to work

Also, at one point the integrated speaker stopped working I had to factory reset the settings for it to work again

And no DSC toggle, HDR could really benefit from an update etc

Up to them to improve the firmware because MSI and Asus are genuinely working hard on that aspect

Imho they should improve the anti-reflective coating (without resorting to matte texture) and, at least for the pro, they should use dual-stacked OLED

My brother’s 12 pro is way too reflective. The OLED however feels way more natural compared to some amoled I saw here and there

Keeping the XS max but I think the 17 pro max will be my upgrade: from what I read it will be the one with more notable upgrades (screen, design,..)

The monitor page of the samsung help, says not to use alcohol to clean. 

No explicit QD-Oled mention but there’s a big G8 in the background of the article  https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00086622/ Tv and monitors not the same advices, so be cautious. 

My brother with a G8 had temporary stains with alcohol (dunno ethanol or ethyl), so really not advised IMHO

the peak pandemic created a huge demand for home entertainment, online-only purchase option and tremendous supply issues

Whilst there are still supply issues, with the IA bubble and all, I still believe it will be much better than 2020.

Can’t wait frankly, the Switch, especially the oled one, is one of my favorite Nintendo console ever.
