Thank you!! I think you're right, I have it and I think I recognize the heart icon, but I didnt recognize the flower icon (probably just a trait I don't use i guess!)

I'm being noisy, what are those other traits and what mod are they from?

Hey! I wrote out a really shitty pattern in this comment. If you have any questions please lmk!

And totally makes sense! The tube top is actually built into the dress cover up!

Ohhh I have another skirt that matches this description! I'll have to try it tomorrow!! Thank you for the idea and compliment!!

A crochet belt is a cute idea!!! And thank you so much!!! 🥺🥺

This is the second comment about witch hat and is definitely moving witch hat to the top of my projects list hahaha

Thank you!! And I don't have a pattern but I wrote out a really shitty pattern here. If you have any questions please let me know!

Honestly I didn't hahaha!!! Which is funny because I have other outfits that I use ribbon to clinch the wwaist. So thank you because it didn't even cross my mind.

Ohhhh that's a cute idea with the necklace!! And haha yeah, my wardrobe is definitely dominant by black, but I am trying to introduce more color and this might be a great excuse!

Hahaha good ol' hot topic! I've been meaning to make one, but never got around to it and finally buckled and bought this one.

I think I agree about the chain belt, it's interesting how many people are saying they love it. I threw it on as mostly to get an idea of it with a chain belt, and i think it might look better with a slightly different silver belt/belt chain. But still happy to hear it looks okay enough that some internet strangers don't think it looks horrible haha!

Thank you! I'll definitely add some rings and a longer pendant

Thank you! And yes I think so! I understand what you mean by the skirt hikes, and I belive I understand what you mean by the weaving the mexi skirt. I'm imagining how belly dancers tuck their skirts. She does a few examples.

Maybe I'm not understanding that correctly because I guess that would get rid of the need for the skirt hikes.

Thank you so much 🥺🥺 Love the harness idea!! And ohhhhh! The witch hat is perfect! I have been thinking about making another one because I sold my crochet mushroom witch hat. I was going to make another mushroom one (which I'll still probably do) but I'll make a plain black one for this outfit! Would definitely add to the Ren Faire vibe of it.

Ohh! I have some platform sandals! I'll have to give it a try!

It's suuuuppeerr comfortable! But I'm also just a sucker for any outfit with a comfy maxi skirt.

That's a great idea! I was thinking about that too, but my whole wardrobe is mostly black and Grey and currently don't have any colorful maxi skirts sadly! I'll definitely have to pick some up.

Thank you so much for this suggestion!! I tried on a dark green plaid mini skirt I have over it, and it looks amazing!!!! I really appreciate it because idk if I would have thought to do that!

As far as pattern goes, sadly no :/ I reverse engineered from this dress.

I'll give a VERY rough pattern below. I am doing some of this off memory, and I made it about a year ago, and I smoke a lot, so im very sorry for how rough this will be. 😅

Yarn: Luxe Merinoâ„¢ Solid Yarn by Loops & Threads. Which was.. a choice. It's a wool/acrylic blend. I was impatient and wanted a DK weight Yarn and thought since it was also acrylic it wouldn't be as hot as pure wool, but it can still get pretty hot under there even if I don't wear a shirt under. Tbf, I also live in texas lmao. Basically, I recommend a light weight Yarn, but maybe not this one specifically depending on where you live. But I'm linking it because it's the exact one I used.

There will be a front panel, a back panel, and two sleeves. The front and back panels are identical. Written in American crochet terms.

Front Panel and back panel

•Chain 100-150 depending on how wide you want it.

•Row 1: double crochet all the way (100-150 depending on what you started with)

•Row 2: Turn work chain three, then one tripple crochet into the first stitch*. Chain three, then in the fourth stitch from the last tripple crochet you made, make another tripple crochet. (I'm not explaining it well, but if you look up a crochet mesh tutorial, it will explain better). Continue this until the end of the row. Mine ended up being 32 mesh squares wide. *I did this to make a "finished" looking edge where the edge was two stitches and looked thicker, rather than just mesh all the way. Same reason I did one row of double crochet to start. I wanted a thicker border.

•continue this mesh pattern for 62 rows (yes, 62 rows 🙃. Im 5'4, so you may need more or less). This will complete the bottom part of the dress and get you to the "bra."

•"bra" part of the dress is 18 rows of double crochet. I made my "bra" part smaller you could make yours wider if you want.

•Then it'll be the final part of this panel, which is 10 rows of the mesh.

assembly of the front and back panel

•Shoulders: I sewed 8 mesh squares together on each side and then left 15 mesh squares in the middle for the neck hole. (I'll look and link a video on how to sew together crochet).

•Sides: I left all of the top mesh and most of the "bra" free for the sleeves/my arms. I did sew the last four rows of the "bra" together on the side and then 5 mesh squares together. I wanted the sides to be very open. You can sew together more mesh squares if you prefer a more closed look on the side.

Sleeves

•Cast on 104-120. Connect the last chain and the first chain so it's a circle.

•Row 1: chain 6, then tripple crochet into the fourth stitch. Chain 3, then tripple crochet into the fourth stitch. Continue this pattern until the end of the row.

•Rows 2-38: Continue the mesh pattern in the circle. Stop here if you want a normal flat finish for your sleeve. If you want the fringe thing I have for my sleeves (check photo ___ for an example), do the neck step.

•"fringe" end for sleeves: how I did this was crocheted an extra two rows (if it's your first time I'd recommend doing an extra three or four rows for some breathing room). After the extra two-four extra rows, tie it off like you normally would finish a project. Then, cut it and start frogging the rows down to the length I want. Honestly, the fringe was an accident. I made the sleeves too long and was frogging a few rows, and it left the fringe, and I thought it was cute and left it.

assembly of sleeves

•sew the sleeves into the empty space left from sewing the front and back panel together. (So 14 rows of the double crochet and 10 rows of mesh).

Again, sorry, I know this isn't the most cohesive, but I hope it makes enough since and feel free to ask questions!

Thank you!! Yeah. Definitely need more silver accessories to break up the black.
