i would contact the provider and verify with them the dx billed on the claim, if the dx is valid and related to the service then the provider can submit an adjusted claim with the correct dx.

i think this depends on where you work.

i used to work for private doctors offices and the job title might be “biller” but it’s so much more, you’re billing, doing insurance follow up, pre auths, appealing, posting payments, collecting payments from patients. it really depends on the job description. calling insurance usually means youre calling to follow up on a denial, or they deny for no auth and you have an auth so they have to correct it. sometimes it can take hours - the place i used to work offered laser treatment for ophthalmology (not lasik) and we would have to call blue cross to make sure they didn’t need an authorization and sometimes it looks HOURS. honestly calling insurance sucks lol

but now, i work for a large hospital system and its completely different, there is a department for every little thing in the revenue cycle. our billers do not make any phone calls - they are literally only responsible for billing and correcting billing edits, claim issues etc. 0 calls. i do insurance follow up, so appeals and claim denials and i actually do not make many calls anymore because most of our issues are corrected with corrected claims, or submitting eobs, correcting insurance if someone makes a mistake with insurance order if they have two insurances. i work for government payors. the team that works with commercial plans makes calls a lot.

so again, it really depends on where you work and what the job description really entails. everywhere can be different

she has like five strands of hair on their head and then she fries it with bleach, no hair stylist should even do that. of her stylist was good she would talk to her about hair health and talk her out of bleaching it.. literally anything but the blonde 😐

i personally feel like the clothes she chooses only look good on her because of her tiny petite body - when she had the bigger models the clothes never fit them as well as they fit her - they didn’t look bad just didn’t really give off the same look on someone bigger.. so i really wish she would pick better options for all bodies
