I think it comes down to frequency of consumption as well. I know that if I want to enjoy a treat of processed snack or a meal out they’d most likely use canola oil along with other processed ingredients so if I’m cooking at home I’d try to use less processed options.

In general If you are trying to avoid processed foods you would stay away from it.
