Anyone else experiencing buggy rocket launcher targeting when attacking? Launchers have ignored tanky troops in front - not inside the minimum range - to attack light troops in the rear. Smoke on the light troops causes them to go back to targeting the heavy troops, which confirms that the heavy troops aren't inside the minimum range safe zone.
Using Ocon as a point of comparison - or Stroll or Sargeant - is a bit of an extreme. Yes, it's preferable to have a #2 who's not a crash hazard/rolling chicane for the rest of the field, including your #1. If your standard is "well, at least he hasn't binned the car and taken #1 with him," you're at best a back marker and arguably better off not fielding a second car.
For any WCC-contending team, the standard for their #2 has to be higher than that. In a car as dominant as the RB18/19/20 has been until the last month, that standard should be no less than Q3 and comfortably top 5 on race day, if not contending for podium. Checo simply hasn't sustained that level of performance.
Cherno is a different thing altogether - it's too heavy for the cargobob to lift, as are several others. It's a shame, because plopping the Cherno on a roof downtown is a frequent wish of mine.
What's displayed in the video is simply a skill issue. Among other things, one should not put the nose down until well above the fence, light posts, trees, etc. - and then only gently when lifting the Pounder or Mule.
Cat-like reflexes in response to danger.
Or not.
Guarantee they were within 1 car length of each other when traffic stopped again (in ~1/2 mile at exit 4).
Who draws them, and in what style? Like street artist caricature style? Charcoal on canvas? Etch-a-Sketch?
Seems like a weird ballpark promotion.
Anyway, doesn't answer the question of who manages.
Tyvola ramp to I-77 S?
Yeah, that's a shit move by the van. That's an obvious zipper merge situation, and the truck was alongside at the light, so it's not like they were trying a dive-bomb overtake.
This one is okay - original audio, talkative cat. No laugh track nor any of the 5 songs typically used as background for every video.
Give it 30 minutes.
Also 704 Korean BBQ in Pineville. Only been once so far, and it was delicious. Beef bulgogi FTW.
Carpenter would be the word you're looking for - except Ikea furniture isn't actually wood. It's fiberboard, so if you strip the white laminate layer, you're not going to like what you find.
You can try painting it a different color, but to paint faux woodgrain on an Ikea cabinet would require an amount of time, material, and expertise that does not make sense.
You know, I'm sure I'd swerve to miss based on reflex and because I still have some semblance of a conscience.
But I'm not so sure that's doing the world any favors when it's saving someone with this degree of self-importance.
Easily the most unconvincing hiss I've ever seen/heard.
Not abrupt. Not chaotic.
But I do like the way the onlooker threw in another "Heh heh heh heh heh" at the end.
Specific load out: (10) mechs, (15) grenadiers - pretty standard for me.
Happened on 3 different NPC bases this morning. Each time I only landed 4 boats for the pass achievement, and each time my grenadiers got lit up even when landing them well after my mechs.
Checo is clearly a more reliable teammate than the bottom tier of drivers, but he doesn't consistently outperform the midfield drivers. I don't believe DR is the answer unless the RB20 is particularly well suited to his driving style. I don't believe Yuki is a consistent step forward either, even though he's probably earned the opportunity to prove it.
2025 may very well be a year to maintain the status quo based on what the team knows about the characteristics of the current car, the expected characteristics of the RB21, and the abilities of their current driver lineup relative to those car characteristics. If so, I believe they'll be surrendering the WCC in 2025 - if not already in 2024 - due to lack of points from a low-expectations #2 while #1 is pressing for the WDC.
