No I immediately thought the same! Celine Dion as Britney in Toxic. Lmao I love it.

Can you link videos on him directly making these comments (degrading her on tv, on her pregnancy, dismissing her opinions, admitting to cheating)? Is he an asshole who grew up in a culture/family that values patriarchal ideals? Yes.

But, narcissism is a mental health condition. If you’re a researcher you would know it’s unethical to use definitive words without actual interaction with the subjects to make a conclusion. It’s possible Ranbir has it. It’s just as possible that Alia has it. The likelihood just based on their professions is high.

If we’re diagnosing celebrities with narcissism based on our very limited interactions with them…why are we singling out Alia and Ranbir’s relationship? They’re all actors, their jobs are literally to lie to us about who they are for entertainment.

lol I’m getting downvoted too. 🥲 We aren’t medical professionals who deal or interact with any of these people on a personal level to diagnose them bipolar, or schizophrenic or depressed. Armchair psychiatrists are so dangerous.

Maybe they have observable behaviors, but honestly we all do!

You’re giving Aditya Chopra a lot of credit.

This was mine. I can’t let me kids watch it either lmao

Just curious - are there actually concrete examples of RK being narcissistic towards Alia? Can you give examples if so?

Edit to add: I’m not an Alia or RK fan or Stan at all, but I think labeling people with disorders is a little unethical. I’m not saying that RK isn’t one— I think any celebrity/influencer is to an extent—but what evidence are you using to diagnose him?

Wasn’t ready for this.

OP! You’re in Knoxville? May hit you up for a baby shower!

It was a Pakistani wedding. I went with my mom, more as a seat filler because the bride didn’t really like me and my dad couldn’t go. Arrived about an hour or so late and we were still early -maybe like half a table was full. Another hour passed, maybe 10 more people showed up. The hall looked like they were expecting 200 people.

Anyway, things are weird, something is off. They start serving appetizers and all of a sudden we get the news that the wedding has been called off. My mom and I are confused. We are 3 hours or so into this event, still hardly anyone there (maybe around 40 people), and now the wedding isn’t happening. At the request of the family, we start calling people to tell them to not come.

Then, we get the news that the bride’s mom is sick and she’s been hospitalized. This was a community of doctors mostly so many of the dads are asking questions, calling around…no person has been admitted with the mother’s name. We’re still all confused.

So the guests there are trying to “save” the wedding bc nothing is adding up. And also if you’re from this culture, this stuff just never happens.

We’re told by the bride’s brother to eat the dinner and to leave so they can clear the hall. We ask if we can help, they tell us no. My mom and I just end up leaving without dinner.

We found out the next day or so that the guy’s family gave the bride fake jewelry as part of her pre-nup. For context, in Muslim marriages, the spouses to be must settle upon a prenuptial agreement that the man gives to the wife, its usually jewelry but can be anything of value. You cannot get married without this. It essentially serves as insurance in case the girl needs money for whatever reason or in case the marriage dissolves and the girl needs to start over.

Anyway, this was unheard of in our community so very shocking and devastating! Sad also, but I think even if the wedding happened only a few people would have showed up anyway.

Aur tumhara bacha bhi ho jayega. But seriously congrats!

It was Dakota’s birthday party and it turned out she was invited haha

Lmao I couldn’t stop looking at him either! Hahahaha
