Massey Ferguson, my dad owns a few and my grandpa had a couple of them that he passed on to my dad. He even still has is old Ferguson To-30 that he takes to shows and parades
I think they’ve since changed their ways about it, definitely an interesting read though
Anything from the Horsch Agrovation pack. I don’t use everything from it, but the mulcher and the planter have been a game changer for me. They’re a bit expensive but definitely worth it
Not only did I grow up visiting my grandparents’ farm, I also work in logistics and it’s fun to set up a shipping warehouse and load/unload trucks on here
It’s not necessarily a farm management game… but there’s so many mods out there that this game can do just about anything. All of the productions can be managed and automated in the base game. As far as tasks on the farm, you can hire AI workers but they’re incredibly terrible. There’s a couple of mods that vastly improve them. CoursePlay is one of them and probably the most popular but it takes some learning to get it set up. Aside from that, there’s tabs to keep up with finances and buy/sell prices and you can just send AIs to buy and sell things for you. It’s not a full-on management game but you can get pretty close to it if you want
That’s weird. The bales in the storage shouldn’t count towards the game’s bale limit so idk what’s going on there. Unless youre playing with someone else and they have a bunch of loose bales out, idk what the problem is
Yeah, but if you chose to play on start from scratch then you would expect to have to spend time planning and such, right?
To fully give you an answer it’s because some map creators actually care and pay attention to detail and actually leave you with nothing on “Start from Scratch” and some map creators just make the map and give you things to start with regardless of what difficulty you’re playing on
For some reason vodka tastes the “best” to me. I think all alcohol tastes like garbage, but once you acquire the taste it’s not as bad. I can drink Budweiser’s and Absolut like it’s nothing, but give me any other liquor and I need a chaser or it needs to be mixed in with something. Whiskey is my kryptonite and I have no clue how anyone can drink that stuff straight but everyone’s taste buds are different
I play it on PC primarily because it just feels better to me. Everything has a button or multiple ways to make it happen. Not to mention a lot more mod compatibility. I’ll play on my Xbox but it’s not as enjoyable. Sometimes it’s more convenient to sit on the couch and play on the TV but I do prefer sitting at my desk with my mouse and keyboard. Once I get a wheel and an equipment controller I’ll probably never play it on my Xbox again lol
There’s a big misunderstanding that FL Studio is only capable of creating loops or beats. When I started getting into DAW’s, I looked up “how to make beats” and “how to add samples” and it was always FL Studio being used in the videos. If I looked up anything else DAW related, it was always someone using Ableton Live or a free and open-source DAW, like LMMS. There is definitely a social thing going on between the popular DAW’s out there but it’s important to remember that they all can do the same thing. One of them might be better at a particular thing than the other, but the same goes vice versa. They’re all very capable of producing any kind of music or sound you want.
I like the idea, but here’s my take on it:
Instead of unlocking categories of equipment, why not make it to where you start from the old roots of farming and work your way into more modern equipment? Kinda like the Through the Years mod. You start off with horse-drawn plows and seeders and stuff, and then when you spend enough time or gain enough XP or something, you can start to unlock old tractors and keep going until you get to the most modern equipment.
You could also have some sort of leveling system, where every action you do gives you XP such as playing, harvesting, liming, rolling, etc. And there are challenges that give you larger amount of XP such as “Fill 20 bunker silos” or “Bale 15 straw bales”. You start off with a certain amount of tractors and equipment unlocked and as you level up you unlock larger and better tractors and equipment to buy.
I like to play different maps because they offer different things. I like Elmcreek for its easiness and structure, but things can feel like a chore on there sometimes. I’ll switch to Western Wilds when I want a farm/productions that’s on completely flat land and I don’t feel like terraforming. Plus, there’s plenty of wide open spaces. I’ll switch to Haut-Beyleron if I want a change of scenery and to put my skills to the test. I still have yet to play the other maps.
Right now I’ve been playing Black Ops 3 for the zombies mode and Cooking Simulator
PIN Number = Personal Identification Number Number
The Automated Teller Machine Machine?
It’s funny they think that slapping a bunch of stickers on a car will change the world around them
Hello Nasty - Beastie Boys (1998)
My Type - Saint Motel
I’ve never been on Bash but most of these I recognize from Hacknet
Sell anything anywhere (i think that’s what it’s called). Not every map has a place to sell some of the stuff I produce so I have to have that mod to even move things like prefab walls and such
What’s your most useful but underrated mod?
farmingsimulator
