This makes me feel better about the work I've done at my house

The supplemental box is the one I linked right?

Maybe this  is a better picture. I'm trying to understand how the three wires between the thermostat and circuit board control the fan speed, recirculating pump, and purge pump.

Would like to make my own Raspberry Pi thermostat for my swamp color. Need help understanding a couple wires.Electrical

Hi all.

My new house has a swamp cooler with a Masterstat thermostat. The swamp cooler has the following settings.

  • Fan speed - off/low/high
  • Recirculating pump - off/on
  • Purge pump - off/on

But the thermostat only has 3 wires behind it so I'm not understanding how each of these are controlled. Can someone explain how all these setting are controlled by just three wire?

Yes, I've read 100 of these and I know how to wire it without the second light. With the second light, it's either not possible or I just can't figure it out which is why I'm posting here.

If only it was on Thanksgiving like it used to be

Do you have a source for any of these claims? Myself and my circle are vacationing more (and I understand we don't represent society) but it's because work benefits have gotten better and wages have gone up in manufacturing (the industry most of my circle is on).

To say everyone needs to "escape reality" sounds absurd to me.

Is this website and source reliable? NPR did a similar report but concluded that due to a tight labor market, many job postings were looking for unicorns just in case they came around since they're so hard to find. They also discussed that because employers got X amount of job listings for a set cost, they might as well use them up (which maybe aligns with the "fake job" idea).

God, I wish this sub was actually about the economy instead of just a bunch of bitching.

I'm a first time home owner who wants a nice yard but knows very little about landscaping (hence the question). Let me be a little silly please; I'm learning 😊

Nope, it's not so bad at all! There's just several roots like this so I'm just exploring my options. I rather like all the trees with the privacy they provide (and block their annoying spotlight). I'll be leaving them alone.

Yah, probably the best bet. Unfortunately not the friendliest of neighbours but we might have to cross that bridge at some point.
